Hmm the phrase when you get enough thumps in the head, you get used to it eventually very much applies to Carlton right now!

This season could get real ugly unless things change fairly lively! Getting rid of Vossy won't make some decent quality small forwards, or some midfielders with pace appear out of thin air.

If we do miss the finals then sweeping changes need to be made by the new CEO, getting rid of the list manager, the assistant coaches and i can't see Vossy himself surviving either. The football manager has already fallen on his own sword i think.

Then again the Brisbane Lions did start last season very bad as well, although they didn't suffer from the list, injury management, and coaching issues that currently afflict the Baggers.

My remarks about the Hawthorn guernsey have offended Fleabane i think.

The Hawks have the same colours as Kilkenny Cork's arch rivals in hurling!:laughv1:

All i can say is that if the Hawks were playing the Pies or Bombers in a grand final, then I would cheer for the Hawks.

In fact the Adelaide Crow's guernsey is even worse sorry about that Pugsley!:laughv1: I like to think that we're still on good terms anyway.

The comp is generally pretty poor quality across the comp so you get a bunch of talented players and hardworking glue players and some sort of plan you can compete. Carlton need to bring up the bottom or that’s where they’ll be at the end of the season.

Everton's next game is the Merseyside derby at Anfield. We might snatch a point all going well, but Liverpool have the league almost as good as won now.

The problem there of course is that Vossy doesn't seem to have a plan, or he's using a game plan that's a couple of years out of date at least!:laughv1:
 
Again it's not as if i said i hated the Hawks (the AFL version) i just said i hated the shirt!

Anyway Fleabane while my thoughts on the Hawks colours remain unchanged, i do apologise if i offended you too much.

I'm sure we can still be friends i hope.:D

So, I had a quick look in the match thread last night Scythe94 ,group thinking is a thing, and surprised so many heaping it on the same players, namely JHF, Rozee, Dale, also surprised it's taken a few a year to realise how good TDK is and then I came across my most hated phrase not sure I'm going to be back now, really, really hate the term "must have'

I'm going to make a personal vow here right now. I'm not speaking about the Baggers again on here until we win a game.:laughv1:

We call that the Grey Crow over at the Royals approach i think. Anyway the East Side Hawks are the only team i've yet to enjoy a win against in this league.

That will change on Sunday all going well!:laughv1:

I have no idea what your talking about, I just love American sports and follow the Eagles and Bulls.
