Yeah, I'll stick to English with a little bit of French thanks. I feel this is something scandanavian???

Icelandic

Currently Google translate is my friend with my efforts - it’s a language I’ve been curious about for a good 20years

A few years ago I bought a fast talk Icelandic dictionary, and one of the recommended 5 phrases to learn before visiting Iceland is:
Get ég fengid bjór í flösku, takk

Or, Can I have a bottle of beer, please?

Glad to see Icelanders have their priorities right

You tried whale?

Its bloody tough to eat
Not knowingly, but I’m pretty sure there’s times in some Asian countries when ordering from random vendors that you don’t necessarily receive the meat you ordered & you’re better off not asking too many questions

I do try to be open minded when it comes to eating options when travelling overseas, though I would draw the line at knowingly & willingly eating say Tom or Scooby

I ate it knowingly in Iceland, its bloody hard to eat with plastic knifes and forks

Nah*, I prefer places that serve deep fried Bruce

*That may be a lie; the best fish & chips I've had were in Queenstown last year from a converted shipping container. Never waited in a longer line for fish & chips and it was worth the wait - deep fried Dory & homemade chips

Ooh best fish and chips

I mean my arteries are part mercury and fish shop fat

Jimbos Snack Bar in Regency Park (across from Service SA) do a mean chip - crunchy and the taste is excellent

And it may be a long time ago but my 1st experience of Barnacle Bills - never replicated - was an eye opener
