Yeah they're not a bad crowd actually. I was a bit tentative going in, but once the ice was broken it was easy to enjoy the experience. I'm not much of a looker myself, no matter what absolutely everyone worldwide says, but amongst this crowd of utter idols I soon found my own bravado and before long I found it second nature to view myself in a newer, and even more positive light.

Anyone know how to get blutac to hold stuff onto a ceiling?

Must admit tho, the backline is a hard nut to crack. And I don't refer to their defensive stoicism.

Roylion will play his 466th game this weekend, and Reardo his 314th . windyhill is a comparable babe in the woods, a season and a half away from his 200th. But surprisingly he's the yappy one. The other two never speak, they just stare at you.

I can't bear it as their captain - I can't imagine how it must be for an opposition forward. There's something chilling about these guys.

Each have had multiple stints as captain, Actually Roylion was captain twice (Seasons 03, 05 & 07), but the flag came for him in-between. Reardo , as TheInjuryFactory would fail to congratulate me for correctly remembering without looking it up (until now), had 2 stints as captain in Seasons 15 & 18 just prior the eras of the two skippercy-hogs (hey TIF? are you proud of me meatpai?).

And finally, windyhill was the captain of the Roys in both Season 40 and Season Forever-after-that no backsies.

windyhill will sometimes speak. And no matter where you are, how late at night, you will sit bolt upright when he does. Then go for a pee. Then resume sleeping. It's uncanny.

I give up! When did Qooty start?

The timing of the first iterationof Qooty itself is actually not certain, but I reckon I first put it together in about 1992. It followed a simpler BASIC program which had the random scoring but no player names nor commentary, which followed a ruler being flipped and a piece of paper with team sheets on it, and prior that a Commodore 64 version known as Real Time Footy way back in about 1988.

From 1992 to 1996 (approx) Qooty was used for another league which had a few friends supporting teams but no online forum to discuss the matches. It was just played on my home PC while mates watched it play out on screen. We ourselves weren't placeholders for the players, those names were all manually invented fake players and we were just the spectators.

The Warriors are innovative and every season they choose a new icon to represent in some kind of excitable GIF-fest every Friday prior a Sweet FA round.

This season they it seems they are going with Steve Buscemi. They never fail to surprise.
