Some people might be influenced in their decision to support one team over the other by the fact that one team changed their name to the East Side Phoenix at one point.

Personally, I wish both teams equally good luck!

What about if said side discovered the error in their ways and have taken significant steps toward atoning for their sins?

Dont see why not, some people are acting like we're Collingwood or something, but the Dragons are generally a pretty loveable lot, and a GF win would be a feel good story.
