And reducing saturated fat intake. But yep, the walking bit definitely. And I'll look into fish oil. I'm taking vitamin d atm as i have a deficiency there.

Same. As for saturated fat's I'm sort of not in that line of thinking. Sugars in their many forms are what does the damage...just look at the animal world, The animals who eat fat are lean, and those that eat plants are fat

As does not putting those monstrous amounts of salt on every dish like I see so many people do. Dousing your food in salt, doesn't give your food more flavour, it just makes it all taste like salt -_-

Plus...salt has more to do with fluids in the body than it does cholesterol

I've met the guy, he is bald short
I’m short too. There’s nothing wrong with that
Thankfully not bald though!

Though my dad has been bald his entire life :’) (since his 30’s)

Herbs (dry or fresh) or chilli have so much more flavour anyway

In an effort to try and lower my cholesterol I thought I would try pulse pasta (recommended by a good friend who is a nutritionist).

Looks nice, simple napoletana style

But idk.... It just tastes wrong lol. I want real pasta :'(
I am making some pasta right now, do you want to try it? I bet it tastes better than that pulse stuff.

My mates 24 and has gone bald. He’s short and had a big beard to compensate

A high salt diet can affect blood pressure, some salty foods such as chips etc. can affect cholesterol levels...not the salt itself
Way to kill the thread.

Yep.

As for chips , I prefer seasoning , chilli or herbs as a chip topping over salt. Last night we went to a place that did chilli herb “salt“. And it didn’t even taste salty. One failing of other chips is that the salt tends to accumulate at the bottom.

Just saw this. As awesome as that picture looks I feel the same way about pulse pasta :( . Instead, I just have pasta a lot more rarely now , maybe more like once a month v the previous once a week now . And have the real thing.

I mean if you are gluten free at least you have this option. But I want my gluten lol
My namesake’s husband has been gluten free for a while , and they have switched to pulse pasta /other gluten free alternatives. I don’t have coeliac disease (I was screened for it ) and yet because of my recent thyroid stuff , my mum wants to implement a trial of gluten free . The antibodies are there though. So the damage is done in my view . Low carb has other benefits but I want the real thing when I do have carbs, at least while I still can :(

But at least I acknowledge it unlike quite a few others
I have a terrible diet and I acknowledge that. Way too much crap
Self awareness is great
On the flipside, not how sure how it links into the T1 title though I’m sure it does
And I’m not going to ask :)

Absolutely none.

I eat a lot of junk. But junk that tastes good. So not KFC.
