The Roys lost an incredible game against the Hawks by a mere 2 points. The Gorillas lead all game but it came apart in the final term. Fred continued to do what he does best, booting 4 goals while fitzroybowiedog was excellent in the midfield, amassing a huge 14 tackles alongside his 24 touches.
The boys from Baghdad were unlucky not to come away with a win against the Dragons, after a strong effort in the final quarter saw them fall just 6 points short of victory. Itsmyshow was wayward with 3.5, while KohPhi had a decent game in the ruck, with 19 possessions to go with 7 hitouts and a goal.

The Roys with a good 4 goal win in what was a shootout. ChookNorris and Papa Juggs both put home 4 goals but it was Mooch who starred on the day with 44 disposals in a midfield master class. For the Bombers, Itsmyshow was left ruing missed chances with 3.5, while PhenomenalV1 and haro Lad each had strong games through the middle.
Can the Bombers capitalise on their chances better this week, and will the Roys be able to run out the whole game?
Ones to watch
For the Roys, Fred simply is the danger man. Currently leading the race for the Season 23 leading goalkicker, he has had an immense season and is a large reason why the Roys have been successful. RIP legend. fitzroybowiedog has shown in the last week how effective his leadership is, rallying the troops in a brilliant show of respect for Fred by changing their avatars to Fred's recognisable Mod Squad logo.
Haro Lad copped plenty of criticism at the start of the season with his recruitment strategy but while there have been some failed recruits, you must give him credit for finding some excellent rookies. One of those is PhenomenalV1, who has been thoroughly impressive both on and off the qooty field in Season 23.
Prediction
I think the Roys will be too good for the Bombers as they look to secure a place in the top 4.
