Man we really need to fire Kyle.

125 coaches have had 40+ regular season games decided by 7 points or fewer. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan's .396 win percentage in those games ranks 118th.

Turn about would of been so good

Jake Moody probably shouldā€™ve went up to Deebo and told him told him to get his shit together !! 22 yards and canā€™t separate from corners/Lbs/S or do anything in the run game.

Problem is it's so predictable. If Deebo lines up in the backfield or goes in motion on a jet sweep, 95% he is getting the ball. Defenses just sell out on it.

Edit...and when the game was on the line on the last 2 drives, Shanahan calls Deebos number in the passing game, Heaven forbid we pass to someone else tge defense isn't expecting.

Especially when JJ hauls in EVERYTHING

The injuries have obviously hurt, but this team has been horribly coached all year. The offensive play calling in the second half of games is putrid, and the game management is even worse. The defense is a house of cards if Bosa isnā€™t there and the big plays they give up in the fourth quarter of games are predictable. And yet somehow the ST are worse, and have been terrible for a long time and nothing is being done about it.

We could theoretically be sitting around 7 or 8 wins, but it would be a false position. We would get gouged by any half decent team in the playoffs anyway. Arizona or LA would be a better chance to go deep in January, at least theyā€™ve got fairly potent offenses.

All true, except for the LA part (theyre flakey as too).

Talk about a team with 0 spirit. Plenty of sides have injuries and it rallies them. There's absolutely no resilience in this organisation.

Pick your stat of shame halfway through the 2nd.

2 x 3 & outs.
Can't overcome minor errors like a false start penalty.
Give up 3 long drives for scores,
had the ball 4 minutes to 19.
1 rushing yard to 100...

I am still trying to work how the Pack were $1.40 to win this game.

Easiest money you could ever make.

Time for a big clean out at the end of the season. This roster had their chance to win a SB and blew it.

The lack of innovation in the offence is extremely disappointing. We've become massively predictable on offense and as soon as the D commits to stopping the run we're pretty much stuffed. No Bosa, no D. Special teams across the board are an absolute joke.

The off-season shenanigans, and injuries we can't overcome. I see other teams really fighting through their situation, we're just overcome by it.

We blew any kind of safety net for the season with those horrible late meltdowns against the Rams and Cardinals.

The Seahawks last week was the absolute icing on the cake. Imagine giving up a 6 game winning streak, without forcing them to play great ball. They should be ashamed of that.

I'm not sure we could tank for a top 10 pick, there are some pretty crappy records out there already....we may not even be the 3rd or 4th worst picking from our own division.

Shanahans stubbornness and not opening the doors to external opinion are the primary cause. This led to the Lance debacle, STs and DC incompetence and there is literally noone in the building to challenge Shanahan. Couple it with a stale playing group and we are where we are.

On the plus side, last years draft was a winner so there are elements to work with on the youth movement.
