Drew and Duursma to Answerth and Houli

Or

Burgess and Dunkley to Answeth and Houli?

Either one feels I little bit off. Duursma coming off a 90 and Dunkley while really underperforming has the potential to go big and have rookies on field still obviously.
I'd go someone other than Houli, struggling with soft tissue injuries, so be prepared for a LTI

Jeremy Howe is currently 536k which equates to a 73.8 average. Since moving down back in round 7, 2016 he has posted the following averages:

2016: 86.7 from the final 16 games
2017: 89.9 from 21 games
2018: 86.4 from 16 games (excluding the 17 he scored in round 19 when he was concussed in the first quarter).

He is currently averaging 76 with three good scores (100, 98, 87), one average score (72) and two shockers (56, 43). Don't let these scores put you off however, he started last season slowly too - averaging 70.3 after the first four rounds which included scores of 56 and 42, before averaging 91.8 from his next 12 games. He also had a delayed start to the pre-season this year due to quad surgery so a slow start was to be expected.

Has gone 80+ in 38 of his last 59 games, and 100+ in 15 of these games including scores of 132, 131, 126, 125 and 123. Collingwood play the following teams leading up to the bye, with Howe's scores against them in the last three seasons in brackets:

Port (89, 118, 90), Carlton (84, 75, 60, 98), St Kilda (132, 108), Sydney (75), Freo (83, 65) and Melbourne (90, 83, 95, 59). In just 4% of teams, he looms as a tasty POD at a discounted price. Howe are you going to get him in?

I like it, if I can manage to get enough cash for him next week I might go for him as it will be the only way for me to get a “premo” in, if you call him that. One of the main things I see in common with the top teams each year is how fast they tend to get rookies off the ground, as even someone like Howe will score at least 10-20 more points than a rookie each week.

Can only get up to $610k as I used up just about all my cash trading Parker to Boak last week.

So only real options are Ellis, Houli or JJ.

If I want to go left field then a Hurley, Savage, Pittard type, but I’d rather not.

I could get a Walters, Newnes, Dusty, Greene range player up forward but I only have one rookie on field up forward as opposed to three on field down back.

Hi All!

Ranking jumped up to just outside top 200!

Still got a few big decisions to make before I crack the Top 100.

Team is as follows:

Backs: Whitfield, Lloyd, Laird, Smith, Hore & Scrimshaw (Emerg: Clark & Stack)
Mids: Coniglio, Cripps, Rockliff, BCrouch, Libba, Walsh, Constable & Ross (Emerg: Gibbons & Hayes)
Rucks: Grundy & Gawn (Emerg: Who cares)
Fwds: Dangerfield, Kelly, Boak, Worpel, Rozee & Drew (Emerg: Parker & Corbett)

Have about $275k before trades

Thinking the following:

1) Clark --> Answerth
2) Libba --> Zerrett

Thoughts on these trades? Or should I be trading out a Drew/Scrimshaw in stead? Also is Zerrett the best value mid to be getting in? I keep looking at Jelly and thinking with GWS great run he may be worth having a look at.

Sexton -> C Daniel
Parker -> Answorth

Have my rookies all pushing 70k and expect a good game from Baker this week as my weakest on field, pretty happy overall considering that I've spent the past 2 weeks undoing my rookie mismanagement from earlier weeeks. Was really tempted to cash in Gibbons or Miers and upgrade Witherden but I'm an optimist.

I'm going to trade Whitfield, at a ranking of 6k I need a bit of a boost over those that don't. Plus I think he'll be a bit slower scoring first week back and with a BE of 185, should drop a fair bit.
So Whitfield to Stewart
And
Drew to Daniel

Could get Boak instead of Daniel but thinking they'll score pretty similar this week.
With $175k left I can trade Parker or Duursma down next week and make another upgrade

Another option I can do. Leaves me $0k in the bank but gets a rookie off the field in the forward line.

Collins -> Larkey (via DPP)
Petreculle -> Greene

Leaves Baker or Drew on the field in the forward line. I think Greene could maybe be a Top 6 forward and with that R14 bye and GWS's run before the byes he could be a super cheap and good option.
