Umpires were disgustingly poor but our team beat them in the disgustingly poor race.

So many cowardly types at the club now (thanks Parker & Cripps). Like it when it's super clean, uncontested pretty ball. Completely different story when they need to be tough and straight line the ball or player.

How many fumble when the feel contact is coming?

How many point and avoid any effort to cover anyone?

A midfield that is massively, massively overrated. A ruckman that is no better than Lycett. A defense that has real trouble defending (without the help of another 10 or so players back there) and a forward line that seems to be playing on hope or luck more than anything else.

Comfortably bottom 6 this year and will be sinking lower over the next few years as everyone involved with the club is inept.

That was horribly bad.

I'm not even sure what we as a club are trying to do anymore. It's not build a premiership list, thats for sure.

Trouble is, it's impossible to extract the effect that hours of ridiculously biased (see what I did there?) calls and non-calls have. If you were able to do so, I'd say our performance would have looked a TON better. Or even a tonne.

It is the 2nd line option guys are the issue. If Butters, JHF or Rozee don’t fire then you need Mead, Moraes or Berry to.

But they aren’t doing it at the moment. I think Moraes and Berry will in time (they are only rookies), but I think Mead might just be holding a spot until a better option comes along.

Additionally, Sweet is so scared of giving away frees, he doesn’t contest anymore.

I think I agree with the Mead comments here. He is mid in everything, there is not one facet of his game that is above average, be it speed, tacking, disposal, running. Like others have said he is treading water until a better option pops up.
