The main positive for me was Ginnivan's response to his omission. You don't want to bank on pride every time but knowing he has it is great, really good game from him.

7 tackles shows great effort and response I reckon.

Cops it a lot for having bad games, but overrall, Chol is having a good season. Noticed a difference in his last 2 though, it has been his pressure and tackling. Chasing heaps and following up tap outs with big tackles. He is incredibly quick and agile for a tall player.

Happy for Chol but the problem is that Chol is sort of a stop gap in the team not part of the core skeleton that is going to push us to a flag. He’s not really the bloke you want being your BOG. It’s a bit like when Ricky Henderson was getting BOG back in the 2018-20 seasons and Omeara and Wingard were doing sfa.

I don't get this thinking. If he plays the best he's our bog. Other games it will be someone else and he'll try play his role.
He was never recruited to be the main man and has held up his end of the bargain really well.

He’s in until Nash finishes his suspension but honestly today he looked more like a VFL player than an AFL player. Finds the ball but doesn’t do much impressive from his disposals. Happy to decide his worth after a four game stint though.

Agree, we were not playing well and that makes it tough for a first time in, for a while, player. Rarely do I see Hawks players stalling with the ball because they can't spot an option. Would have been tough on HH.

An underrated aspect of Chols game since he arrived is his centre bounce work.
If he isn't launching and palming lace out, then he's following up like an extra midfielder.
Love watching him in there.

- Right now The Wiz is miles ahead of Harley Reid in their respective developments. The Wiz is one of the best in his position but I don't think Harley would even be getting a game for us in his current form.

Of course he would and he wouldn't need to carry our club on his shoulders as he's trying to do out west.

I was level 3 in the GA and it was fine (actually sat right behind the well known Hawks tragic and former Test Cricketer Damien Fleming!).

But you draw the short straw and get stuck next to a bunch of feral f..k wits like you unfortunately did and it can ruin your whole night.

Unfortunately more and more of these types of low bred ingrates around these days . They get away with way too much in public places like the footy, public transport, etc.

He’s just not AFL fit at the moment. He’s averaging 16 disposals and 2 marks a game playing as a full time mid.

It was well known the Eagles were disappointed in the shape he rocked up to pre season training in and it’s showing this year in his performances.

Crowd near me was brilliant including ‘everybody!’ revving 6-7 sections all on his own on level 2.

Sorry to hear others didn’t have a good time - best thing to do is to continually report to the ground and the club. They’re happy to give these folks a spell.

We say this yet they only kicked 11 goals from nearly 50 entries. I'm happy with that as long as offensively we are putting a good score on the board.

Mix of players being out of form and teams have done their homework. Also, adding two extra talls (minus Frost of course, so one extra tall) to the backline changes the dynamic a little.

D'Ambrosio struggling to get touches doesn't help either. Teams aren't letting him get any cheap touches.
