He's been written off a bit. If he returns fully fit and firing and used correctly, he'd be handy, a solid unit with pace...neary 22 yrs old.

Yeo's prolonged injury does have that terminal vibe about it.
But I'd still have him in even late in the season, (if fully fit and firing).
Just adds balance, protection, some drive, leadership and takes up a quality oppo player.

If he has the year off we might get 15 games out of him next year

Can see Oscar having a good game to be honest, just a feeling.
If Kelly is under a cloud then hopefully it opens the door for Grego.
Also would like to see Brock in for Edwards, more mobile and attacking which will be needed against Hawks.
Still not sure who will make way for Allen but if Kelly is out for Grego I would like to see him in the 22 and have Dewar as the sub for some late run and carry.

We don’t actually know how the match committee works.

Previously the footy GM (Daniher then Vozzo then Bell) was the chair. I’d assume they’d be more likely to get a final say over the coach.

Where have they discussed this?

Can’t recall anyone saying “it rests with the coach”, they usually generally refer to the match committee deciding.
