Agree - bring him in and drop Ginni - Ginni is just not working hard enough - Chol's laziness is rubbing off on him. Maybe he should stop spending so much time deciding on what celebration to have and focus on just getting the ball
To be fair, he spent a lot of time last year choosing celebrations and got to use them. I have a feeling the young fella is playing through an injury. I do think he needs to get whatever it is right though so a sideline stint may do some good.

Another quick light training today.
All players besides Will Day are present.
Croc, Worps, Dear, McCabe and Nash all moving well.
Off course the upcoming main training should tell the complete story if all are really 100%
Nash got a small strap on the left arm.

Can't see any mouthguards. A bit worrying.

Holmes is very quick. Ran a 22.67 as a 17 year old.

Edit: Also ran a 2.80 20 second sprint at the Vic Metro combine which if included in the draft combine would be top 10 of all time for draftees.

That's interesting, he doesn't seem overly quick to me on the ground. I guess we'll see him run vs Maginess/Watson/Weddle/CJ and we can see how he compares.

Disagree.

They gave a very good small forward line, but it's not better than Wiz, Ginnivan, Moore, McDonald and Hardwick.

As for Holmes and Smith. They're good runners, particular Holmes, but they don't have pace. Don't mistake good running ability with pace. Smith is a little better than Holmes in terms of acceleration, Holmes is very average.
Holmes doesn't have pace? He won the sprint at the GF mate he is lightning quick.

Only CJ and Watson could match him at full throttle I reckon. CJ is very quick but we never see enough of it.

Ok, so on a track his very fast. But I'm just telling you in a football game he doesn't seem overly quick me. I've said already, he's a good runner, but not superb pace or acceleration, relative to other quick players in the league, at least I haven't seen it this season.

He leaves most for dead when he's in full flight, it's actually pretty exciting to watch as a neutral. Think Jetta and Rioli in the 2012 Grand Final. Rioli very fast over a short distance but Jetta had him covered over an extended sprint. He had Weddle covered comfortably in that sprint on Grand Final day, as I said only Wiz and CJ could match him.

The amount of people on here scared of Geelong is astounding.
We’ve lost 5 games since April last year, one being at that tax payer funded hell hole stadium they play out of. Haven’t lost at the G since the Swans game.

We’ll be fine, we have match ups for their big forwards, Geelong don’t have this all conquering midfield at all, in fact outside of Holmes, who isn’t handling a tag at all and Baz they are pedestrian in there,

Meek should monster Stanley and our small forwards if given enough supply can cause chaos for quite a tall and slow defence.

Some people need to stop jumping at shadows.
Have you seen our head to head record since the 2008 gf?

Something like 21-9

11-3 for easter monday.

We have been their bunnies for too long.

He is very quick/powerful and their best mid. Hopefully we don't see much of that .......
