Mini’s gameplan might be good in theory however you have to have the correct list of players to carry it out which at present we just don’t appear to have. The senior players in particular just don’t seem to be able to adapt - perhaps it’s a case of “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” lol.

We’ve just put up 77.

The club has consistently found new ways to reach ever lower ebbs in the past four seasons.

Just being a mature body is not enough. They actually need to lead on and off the field, and our senior players no neither.

Cull them all, go expansion club young and try to set standards.

Waterman been good and same with Archer
Oscar better today

Agree on Liam Ryan - he put in a lot of work, playing once every few weeks must agree with him.

Waterman was wasteful in front of goal when we were still in the game and should have backed Jack Williams in to kick on goal before half time - instead he was distracted and missed badly.

Oscar laid a good tackle, and looked to move with some purpose at times but he just does not get enough of the ball or be involved the general play with any regularity. We don’t have a stay at home forward line so that isn’t a good enough excuse, he just isn’t able to impact the game in a meaningful way - it’s ok to kick 1 and get 8 touches when you’re Archer Reid in game 5 - not when you are the skipper who wants a 6 Year/$1m contract.

He has some visually obvious howler moments but he absolutely fought he tail off today, well worth another game.

By my count, Carlton have kicked 5 goals from free kicks, 9 goals from turnovers, 19 goals from centre clearances and 6 goals where Walsh just spun the ball on his finger in front of our entire midfield before passing it to someone in ten metres of space directly infront of goal

Curnow had 6 shots on goal. Had he converted some easy misses we' be talking about a 6 goal or 5 goal game.

Harry got turned around and pushed out of some contests pretty easily.

Harry isn't a player who keeps his spot in a good team. He's a short term player for us and depth in any half decent team.
