Now with the season starting to settle a common trait among the best sides starting to show which is how good you are when you haven’t got the footy. Pressure, tackling, smothers, long runs to positions to get to an opponent unchecked or block a hole making it harder for the opposition to move the ball …….. it’s amazing how quickly it can turn into options going the other way when you unexpectedly get the ball back! We can do this at times but we gotta develop and do this consistently for 4 quarters every week. We do this we have a very good chance of winning this Sun.

I hope we are ready and primed to fly the flag for Ginni.
If Seamus comes in and Hardwick starts forward, then I hope he drops Maynard the minute anything starts.

They will tackle him hard.

Yes fly the flag back for our boy but no reversals if he gets a free in front of goal.

A guy elbowed another guy last night and got a goal from a spilled ball so whatever happens, there won’t be a bigger howler this round
Mollison says "hold my beer".

Worth a listen - Sam pretty much gave away Ramsden playing when he spoke about Chol and spoke about Karl Amon and trying to get it right in terms of how to best use him in the team.
Great work by you too, mate.

We also need to watch that our half forwards don’t all press to far up the ground, plenty of times we’d have the ball on the back flank and no one up field to kick to.

Mason Cox will try and rattle Frosty.
Everyone knows he has a short fuse.
Hope he keeps it together.
Frosty has a tendency to give free kicks away in front of goals when he is in a moment of rage.
Energy sapping for the team.

Perfect the kid has to play in a area we lack depth. I like the sounds of splitting the ruck load into 2 or 3.

You don't want to put to much pressure on him when Chol does goes up into the ruck. Let's use his athleticism and get him involved.

I still think one of the defender's may be moved forward to assit in the air around the ground.

Hockey fights are quite bizarre...

Such a stylized ritual, it's almost like watching pantomime, or kabuki...or some video game where it suddenly goes FIGHT-MODE!!!

Even reminds me of the old Warner Bros cartoons, with the sheepdog and the coyote, clocking-on and off to continue their punch-on
