Do we think anyone besides Tsatas and Perkins get the flick? At this stage I'm guessing Durham/Hobbs or potentially Shiel to get a bump in midfield time (Shiel experiment down back officially over), Menzie into the 22 into the vacant forward role and either an El-Hawli/Roberts/Shiel to sub.

But would mean SEH playing back imo which hasnt really been happening

i was actually hopeful at the start of the year but now seeing our few mature players regressing (redman, mckay, mcgrath and shiel etc) along with most of our young players not progressing, i'm struggling to see how we'll get more than 5 wins

Any more injuries will likely mean more debuts. It's only round 3, still plenty of time for things to go badly. I mean... currently, we haven't won a game and we still the end-of-year fadeout to look forward to.

The problem is our backline has been very poor both defensively and in moving the ball two weeks in a row. A poorly skilled and slow back 6.

No side can survive that many poor users in defence. Scott and the players want a response, but effort is not going to replace skill.

His best season of football was his 3rd, - 8 years ago now, along time. Hes just lost that movement he had when he was lighter. No doubt injuries couldve played a part

I mean, great?
Even if we do, genuinely, what does that mean for us? (I know this is a very defeatist/pessimsitic outlook).

Port are better than us, full stop. Maybe we get a few lucky bounces, a few lucky calls. Maybe a few guys play their best game of the season, and a few port guys are abnormally quiet, and we win by 15pts.

But even then, it’d be hard to get excited. Unless wins genuine come due to Kako, and Caddy, and Edwards, and Saad, and Reid. It’s cliche, but it will genuinely be the performances of select players that is noteworthy rather than the overall outcome at the moment.
