As the game approaches I am getting increasingly sad and emotional about the fact that I can't go and cheer Silk and Clarko off the field at the end of the game. I am so glad that my family and I were able to be there for Silk's 400th. I guess this lockdown has made me really appreciate the privileges i have had to go to training and watch them at the MCG. Sadly that is coming to an end this year hopefully things will change at the end of this year and we can have clean air next year
Same here. Been thinking a lot this week about the threepete era - some of the best years of my life - and these retirements / endings really cut the last piece of thread this team has with that period. Of course the club will always have my heart, particularly these new kids, and there will be new stories and successes to enjoy, but there is great nostalgia which correlates very personally to what was happening in my life at that time.

Wish could be at the ground.

Breust isn't playing. He's going to be a late out for Brockman.

Named as a way to be able to actually get him into the ground for the send-offs of Silk and Clarko.

Absolute pisser that a player on a list has to be named or can't get access into the ground haha. Nice that Punky will be part of it though.

Lots of Tigers changes, lots of the Tigers midfield out, it'll be interesting to see if we can take advantage of that.

The only bona fide Tiger midfielder left in the named team is Bolton. All the others are kids or depth (Chol).

Is this even a thing? wouldn't being replaced at the last minute still be considered out of the side?... unless you just mean having the ability to be there at all, in which case, I'm pretty sure they could easily give any number of players/people a supporting role that would provide them access to the club rooms. But tbh, I don't know what Covid restrictions are in place.

Shame that Brockman and the Duke are managed. That doesn't make much sense in the Duke's case.
Even if Box Hill finals is the explanation, I'm sure both would have held their spot if it wasn't Clarko and Silk's last game.

Well 9, one was just the sub.
