Was never going to be. They rested players for this, got everyone up for it and they won't come close to an AFL performance for the rest of the year.

Reid/Yeo/Kelly are an elite on ball unit, Allen, Ryan and Waterman are capable of being elite, and Barass would get a game in our defense, he's excellent. Was always going to be a tough scrap.

Needed that from JOM. Got to turn the screw and hope they start to tire. Get a run of three goals and I think we take them. Not going to do it without that though.

They are throwing absolutely everything at this. It's perfect training for finals. The on field team needs to work their way through this. Coaches can tell them who best players to utilise are (HELLO - JEREMY SHARP).. but ultimately it's on field where this win will come from. .,.. imho.

Would gladly trade him.

Have said from the start that we massively overpaid for him. People look at his athleticism and his versatility but ignore that he’s not really elite in any role. He’s not good enough to play #1 ruck and as much as we try to mould him into a forward he’s just not, can’t stick a contested mark and is an unreliable set shot

Are you watching the game? If West Coast play like this every week they are a top 4 side. Over 200 pressure rating both quarters.

But they don’t, they suck, and are playing their GF. We haven’t played particularly wel but are 13 points down against a team playing like a top 4 side.

They should drop away and we should lift and win. In theory.

Knew there’d be a lot of whinging in here. Thank you to the eagles for making this finals like, it’s absolutely electric. We’re coming up against better teams soon, absorb everything they’ve got and hit them back between the eyes. Stop expecting perfection. Melbourne not turning up last week is the type of game that has you complacent come finals, this has the lads hardened and ready. Forget the ladder, it’s irrelevant right now. This is their gf.

His set shot is actually pretty good. The big thing that's let him down is his marking. If he starts sticking them (a la Treacy), he'll be an elite Fwd/Ruck (with the ability to pinch hit elsewhere).

Certainly feels that way this season but is only 22 years old so hopefully it can change.

Again: Now we find out about the true character of this team. Are they going to step up in the big games and grudge matches to come or are they going to falter or get sucked in to skirmishes and be another so-so team. They have a half of footy to test themselves, to extend themselves, to prove themselves.

Gun and sky is the limit? Legitimately a glorified third forward/second ruck. He's biggest attribute is he allows Treacy to stay forward and not ruck.
