Score: 2303
Weekly Rank: 37541
Overall Rank: 20603 (20097)
Heroes: Adams, Bontempelli, Fyfe, Treloar, Gawn, Macrae, Greenwood
Villains: Lloyd
Trades Made: None
Trades Planned: Joelwood to a midfield premium; I might also bring Allison in too.
Trades Left: 5

Defence: 3/10

Docherty had his first poor score and first score under 100 in my team on the week I put the VC on him; Adams was good but no one else hit the tonne.

Midfield: 6/10

Good performances from Fyfe, Bontempelli and Treloar were held back by the Lions Midfield Quartet of Rockliff, who redeemed himself somewhat, Beams, Zorko, (C), and Witherden; all not terrible scores, but disappointing in the context. Selwood was injured and will need to depart.

Interestingly, I gained 11 points by loopholing Docherty into Zorko, the same amount as I lost last week by loopholing Dangerfield into JJK.

Rucks: 8.5/10

Gawn was magnificent and Nankervis did a solid job covering Witts.

Forwards: 8/10

A lowest score of 85 certainly isn't bad; Greenwood redeemed himself and Macrae was brilliant.

Overall: 6.5.10

Comments:

The big positive is that a lot of my poorer scores were in the 80s instead of the 60s. Scoring my second highest score of the season with Witts and Dangerfield out is a good thing, but it goes to show how poor I've been this season. Zorko has gone from a consistently reliable 110 to wild fluctuations over the past couple of months. Trading Luke Ryan out continues to severely bite me; despite Mountford putting up a decent effort this week on the bench.

With $150k in the bank, I can trade Joelwood to absolutely anyone; the big question is who...

This is where teams fall apart. Three years ago I was top 2000 the entire year and copped 4 donuts in Rounds 23, finished on 4000.

I'm ranked 2.5k this year but already Jelwood out and 0 trades. + JPK's hammy and Nick Riewoldt's scored one ton in 14 rounds.

JPK should be good to go this week.

Only 340 points from 10th bud

Great season!

Thanks mate.

If only I hadn't made Sloane captain last week. :$

Should have known better that he was against Greenwood but I was going for a hail mary in my cash league game that I was losing. LOL! :drunk::thumbsu:

Well done bud!

Cheers mate.

Losing Jelwood hurts with no trades left but I have SP Ryan and SP Scharenberg now to cover D5 and D6 which means I can use Adams and Lloyd in the mids and Macrae/Billings/Yeo/Dahl in the mids while playing Nank and SP Greenwood at F5 and F6. :rainbow:

Plenty of DPP to move players around to cover holes with. :thumbsu:

Thinking about running with this lineup this week.

Loophole Shaw with lloyd via North Hibberd.

Loophole JPK with Billings (currently forward) via Brown. If JPK scores like shit then Billings goes to mids, Brown goes forward and I take Nanks emergency score.

If JPK scores well then I will loophole Nank and Greenwood via swapping Brown with Bolton so Brown goes forward for loophole.

1496, with Dusty as captain who was my 8th highest scorer and with Ryan and Schaz as non-scoring bench players. Witherden and Lloyd on field, as well as Myers.

Managed to hold Greene and Dangerfield through their suspensions and can preserve trades as I am straight through to my cash league prelim.

Pretty happy with that.

2333, Lost my 2 main leagues in 2 very tight games mainly thanks to that arseh*le Rory Sloane. In my main league will all my best mates it came down to my opponent needing 128 out of Sloane and it was never in doubt. And in bigfooty div 8 i was looking good until Greenwood and Sloane came along and ruined it for me.

Thank god they were both Qualifiers not elimination finals. This week back ill welcome back Danger and JPK and have to use my last trade on Selwood. I have 476,700 to play with and after a quick look there are no decent mids for that price atm, im 2 grand off getting Robbie Gray and about 20 k short of Beams and Sloane.

2377 pretty sure that's my best score for the year.My trades were cracking in Neale and Gawn.
But i lost my main league by 23 points fuuuuu franklin and he had steele big score out of his arss.
I needed sloane to beat greenwood bye alittle more only if l looped greenwood and spuddy franky.
Almost won me the game sloaney.
