All Brisbane Lions members with game access at The Gabba will have free access to this game however a ticket must be redeemed via Ticketek using a member barcode ahead of the game. MemberHQ will be in contact via email tomorrow to confirm ticketing arrangements. Members are also able to view all ticketing information as it becomes available via our Member Ticketing Hub here.

So are the Lions players allowed to see their families? If not they why did they get sent 'home?'
They (AFL/ Governments) have managed to make it even more of a disruption for the players and staff of the Lions; Pack up at Port Melbourne, fly to the GC, set up at Royal Pines or wherever. Then pack up next week, fly to Melbourne, set up in Melbourne again. For what exactly? What a complete waste of time.

Sorry guys that's really stupid. That being said I've got nothing to do on Saturday night and live in the area so might go along. Anyone know where to get tickets for a non-member?

Tickets will go on sale at 2pm tomorrow.

For everyone else, lions members need to reserve a ticket with their membership barcode. This starts at 12pm tomorrow.

Not exactly sure what you’re trying to say here.

Both my wife and I have registered for the vaccine.

We received an email saying “congratulations you’re in the queue, we’ll contact you when we can arrange an appointment”.

Colleagues at work have told me they have received appointments in September.

That to me, suggests it’s not about people not wanting the vaccine, but that there isn’t enough vaccine for the people who want them.

Yeah righto, up until the last episode in Melbourne and Sydney the rate of enrollment for vaccination was underwhelming. You could have easily booked for an appointment, which I did, weeks ago and get in on short notice. Which again I did. In addition surveys suggest 27% of the adult population in Australia won’t get vaccinated. I’m guessing your blaming the federal government responsible for that as well then.

"The decision to play the game on the Gold Coast was made in consultation with the Brisbane Lions and, while Greater Brisbane remains a red zone for travel from Victoria, it allows St Kilda to fly in and fly out of the Gold Coast via a charter flight. Supporters who are based in Greater Brisbane are permitted to travel to Metricon Stadium to attend the game."
I for one just what to offer sincere thanks to our government overlords for permitting us serfs to freely travel to the game.

Will probably depend when greater brisbane becomes an orange zone

So is there anywhere in the membership website to find our "barcode numbers"? That would've been easy to find on our membership cards but that's gone the way of the dodo now. Can I assume that it will be sent to us in tomorrow's membership HQ email?

So Brisbane based fans can go watch the game but it can't be played in Brisbane?

Bizarre. Really don't understand the system the Victorian government have set up at all.
Take the square root of the sum of the squares of all the players' grandmother's shoe size, multiply by the sum of the players jumper numbers, divide by their collective ages and finally multiply again by the secret CHO Factor, thought to be in the vicinity of 2.54712222 recurring.

Makes as much sense as any of these bizaar and convoluted rulings.

Yeah nah.

The majority of Australians are not able to even book for vaccinations as they're under the age of 40, for which most are not eligible for one of the various categories for prioritisation.

Apparently Qld hasn't been enforcing that age limit. It's very much the exception.

I'm also curious as to the source of your 27% figure? If you're citing such a precise figure, surely you've got a reference to the surveys. Most that I've seen seem to sit around the 10-15% mark.

If you log in to your members portal it'll be there.

All this complaining about vaccines, log onto any number of doctor booking apps and there are 1000’s of vaccine appointments available across the city.

get proactive and stop having a sook

Nothing in NSW or Victoria, so no. Will continue to complain about this cluster****.

Yeah nice attempt to distort what I said. Of course there is a program to roll this out. Up until the last Sydney and Melbourne outbreaks the uptake of vaccination was underwhelming. And yes of course that refers to those groups eligible for appointment. I booked and had a vaccination in 2 days. But hey this is the era for outrage so go right at it.

At least we can be assured now that the St. Kilda players, coaches and support staff will be safe from the Covid beast that is on the loose and wreaking havoc in Brisbane.
Out of all the games that have been moved to this feels like the most needless.

The doctors I usually see have a 13 week waiting period for the Pfizer Vac
