I guess we see things differently, and so does the club. We and the club want flags >the good bit<.

Everything else is a journey towards it, right now it seems we've got a long long journey to our next good bit. Club seems to think it's this year, I disagree with the club on this one but at least they're in it for the right reason.

You didn't say why you were disappointed.

I can't work out how you could be.

You reckon we are a bottom six side and we were playing a top two side at their home ground with seven fewer days off since our last game.

I would think that you would have been delighted that we got within 8 points in such a scenario.

So why were you disappointed?

Ok then, how would you compare those two teams at absolute full strength? Be interested to know what your view is on that.
I don’t know, they’re probably a bit more talented than us,especially on the forward line. But do you honestly think West Coast could win the premiership without Kennedy? That’s the point I’m trying to make.Injuries do affect a team’s performance. There are some players you just can’t cover when they’re out of the side.

You're obviously in a foul mood, spoiling for a fight and daring anyone to take an opposite POV to you Carringbush2010. As another poster commented, you wrote off the team as not good enough weeks ago, so why are you trying to drum up an argument now? Just enjoy being proven right (or at least, you think that you ultimately will be).

I didn't notice these belligerent posts from you last Sunday, after the Carlton win. Why was that? Were you afraid of sticking your neck out?

I'm not baiting for an argument, I'm merely posting my what looks like correct views, this is not enjoyable. If you have a problem with that then I can't help you.

Last week was a win, and more importantly a step in the right direction re game style, so I posted accordingly. Still far far from potential form and last night we went backwards again.

My posts aren't belligerent, they are my views from what I see. Blunt maybe, belligerent no.

Was disappointed because we lost to a team that is not in form down two rotations before half time.

I'm glad you're delighted, seems you can't be disappointed. What I'd give to view consistent disappointment as a positive, alas I'm too practical for that.

I didn't say I was delighted. I said you should be.

I found some individual performances disappointing last night.

I'd say that I found the reactions of a lot of Collingwood fans disappointing but it wouldn't be true.

It's par for the course.

This season has been a real emotional roller coaster ride for a lot of Pies fans.

I feel sorry for them to be honest

Yeah I'd agree with your summation of the two talent wise, injuries are part and parcel for teams every year, especially the Pies.

Wc have a Kennedy to lose, we don't. So given that - even at full strength against full strength we aren't achieving the end game are we.

Why should I be delighted? Where in that performance says we're heading to a flag anytime soon?

If I was the AFL, I would be worried after tonight.

A night Grand Final at the Gabba in humid conditions is a terrible spectacle waiting to happen.

On ground media said it was actually pretty dry compared to how bad it can get.

Why should I be delighted? Where in that performance says we're heading to a flag anytime soon?

I explained why. Made it really clear. You think we're terrible. You should not have been capable of disappointment.

In that performance there was enough for me to be really confident that the next time we take on the Lions, hopefully soon, we'll slaughter them.

I look forward to another chat with you after that event

He didn’t seem focused tonight, that would explain why.

That’s 3 handballs out the back of Centre square congestion onto the chest of an opposition player in an acre of space in 2 games. I won’t even mention the ball he slip between his legs at HB. His SI stats are great but unfortunately we’re not the team getting the benefit. His mind may have been elsewhere and if so he shouldn’t have played.

How about the deliberate againSt Daicos when it came off Neale?

That was a mistake but I actually thought the umpiring was pretty good, put the whistles away for much of the game. Robbo not getting a free after getting flattened by Maynard was the most obvious free overlooked.

Don't like all the Phillips hate. It's unwarranted. Did you haters see Stevo's game tonight? You think Phillips was worse than that? Spare me please.

Hard to split them really.

Riiiight, I think we're terrible and therefore should be delighted.

That team we lost to was ripe for the picking and we didn't capitalise, so yeah disappointed. We are far far from potential so yeah disappointed, even if we are at potential we are not the most talented team in it, so yeah disappointed.

Is there anything else I should be delighted about?

Our best backman didn't even start and they kicked 6.

Arguably even 2 of our best 3 defenders didn’t start. Depends on how you rate Langers. I guess they could argue they can’t get Adams on the park.

Oh I see, so wc without Shuey, Kennedy, Yeo, Waterman doesn't compare with Degoey, Howe, Sides, and Langdon (who hasn't played this year anyway). Got it.

So then you're admitting we don't have the depth and / or game to cover those players and wc do. Looks like we agree.

Our bottom 6 just aren't up to premiership standard, not haven't just aren't.
You obviously don't rate Treloar nor his absence? OK...
Shuey and Kennedy games missed cross over, your methodology of assessing absent players make no sense. ( Games missed, exclusion of key players from the discussion and games where multiple key players are missing )
What it tells me is our list lacks balance of quality across the key player groups particularly goal kickers ( tall and small ) and we just cannot cover the loss of JDG and have been badly exposed.

Treloar I'll give you (can't believe I missed that one).

But I'll also have to agree with you.

Yep you're right, so flag unlikely for this group.

Maintain the faith C2010, there appears to be more than usual KPF's available this off season, surely we will will get one, and with Will Kelly back next year our structure will be more robust. The oldest player on our list going forward ( still arguably our best player ) is Pendles and he will be a quality player for another few years.
The other thing is the worse an issue looks/is the more likely action will be taken ( referring to our forward line and its efficiency )

So we agree again, get a KPF and the rest of the list playing to potential and we're in it.

Going on trading / drafting recent history I don't have much confidence we'll get one.

Right... so because of those Ruck stats, Grundy beat his opponent comfortably???

Who suggested that? Grundy won the ruck duels, got pantsed when the footy hit the ground, probably just pipped the Big O around the ground.

That something has has not done in last year showing he is not Close to 100% at the Moment

Do you think Grundy was the better ruckman tonight? Yes or no?

I don’t think there was much in it. Your making out like he was flogged.

Brown actually had a good game against Carlton last year, maybe because he was playing against players of his standard

I thought Cal Brown actually did a lot right in terms of getting to the right spots but he was definitely more fumblely than I have ever seen him.

I would hope our million dollar ruckmen would do better than barely breaking even with no-name Ruckmen the past few games..

I don’t think what he’s being paid has anything to do with it and if that’s what you’re basing your assessment on you’ll be disappointed more often than not.
