I watched the VFL game and Miller was great in the first half.

Team balance is kinda the same though, Miller is in for Pickett to cover as the third tall.

If it’s dry the extra tall is handy as a lot of sides get numbers back , saints are huge on that tactic , n o doubt that explains it

So the coach who knows what he is asking of each player decides that Banks was the only Tiger worth votes in a 7 goal loss and you say they are irrelevant.

4th week in succession that team selection has been met with melts and yet the team are 2-1 in that time with the only loss being 10 points to Port who'd won 7 straight heading in to the game in which McQualter had pretty much 4 days to get his head around becoming the interim head coach. Maybe just maybe the people selecting the team have an clue what they're trying to achieve with the teams they are selecting.

All for being critical of team selection, as it has warranted it many times over the last three seasons, but hard and downright shooting yourself in the foot making wholesale or anything other than enforced after a win like last week.

Or maybe the wins might have been easier with better selection?

We’ve dropped more than our fair share of close ones in the last two seasons and we really got a roll on last year when selection went the way many of us were screaming for many weeks earlier. You could make a decent argument that selection has played a role in a few of those close losses.

Just because we are getting the win doesn’t mean we can’t be better.
