Trades Round 14 trades

Depends on who you want to trade out really.

Cripps to a SP mid this week or next?
Mitchell/Ford to DC next week?
Are you planning to keep Ashcroft? If not trade him and Cripps to Serong/Neale/Sprayshaw this week?
Then Atkins/Humpa to premo/rookie in RD16.
I was thinking of holding one of Ashy/ The Cripple as M9 cover for the remainder of the season as looping options. They won’t be much different in price after this next game :$

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're sorted for rnd14 but in a pretty bad way for r15?
Maybe something like Cripps + Cincotta > Cameron + Sinclair?
Yeah I’m absolutely flush with Dutch Creams for round 14, but am about 3 or 4 Red Rascals short for round 15.

Will have to get Uber-creative for my final “upgrades” and just pray that the Claret blister comes back in 15 and punishes the non-believers.

4 weeks with $658k on the bench is definitely going to sting the overall, though.

Unfortunately Ford Fairlane will still have some mooing to do and I need every cent for the run home.

Atkins and Humpa will be on the chopping block, unless they’re both scoring well.

I think I’ll be struggling to field 18 in R15, but I’m guessing I will not be the Lone Ranger there.

Thinking Weddle and Pedlar (sorry WaynesWorld19 ) for Windhager (I assume he has decent JS?) and Jeremy Cameron.

Leaves me with this team in grave danger of never being free of on-field rookies

If TT tons up again. < 360k for a 90+avg DPP player will come handy after the byes.

I'd be happy to pay a 50k premium to avoid the R15 carnage that comes with bringing him in now.
Credit where its due, I keep coming back to this argument.
There's a chance that if I were to bring tt in this week, his score won't even register in my top 18 this coming bye. If he does, it might only be the difference of 10 points or so.
Then he'll obviously be out next week when I need him.

Meanwhile, if I were to pick him up in a couple weeks time, like you've suggested, I'll also have 3-4 rookies that'll be pretty ripe for upgrades, so there's a decent likelihood the 50k price difference doesn't matter that much to me then.

So I think this week will be a hold from me. Its been a while.

Can anyone figure out to get Himmelberg in while not having a forward stuck on the bench, missing out on a score.

Been doing my head in haha.

Himmelberg comes in regardless even if I tank a score, only really playing for cashie league but try for rank in the background.
Full time defender now and his form last year from round 11 when he went into defence is just too good. 374k yes please

20 something breakeven, now or never for me
My r15 is cooked but like I said only playing for league so I’ll cop the shit week, gives me a bargain F6.
Walsh my last mid spot
Witu fyfe at F7
And wardlaw at M9 IMG_4464.JPG IMG_4465.JPG IMG_4466.JPG

Trade him in for Sicily :moustache:

I have many ideas but it's going to be hard to see which one will pan out better, considering moving on Atkins and Seamus for either a premo mid or someone like Luke Ryan down back. Ryan, he is a potential burnman so remain cautious on his inclusion. Also have to consider round 15 and having at least 17 starters.
I might look at holding Seamus for round 15 and seeing if I can get him back fwd to cover that line.

Realise I posted in the wrong trade thread last night must be getting old...

Tempted to do the below which would leave Briggs R2 (and Cameron F6 for any disaster) and no rookies on field, my R14 bye is worse than I thought because even after this I am only fielding 19 if I include Mullin

Either trade him in and use the dreaded “optimise” function, or optimise and hope that it glitches.

OR

Trade Seamus, switch Roberts forward, switch kentsable to the mids, and trade in HH to defence.

Then press optimise

Beware the return of darcy on jacksons scoring and beware mullin getting dropped with geelong players coming back.
Jackson was starting to score well even with Darcy in, but it is something to think about. Given he can cover my rucks, im willing to take the punt that he averages 90+ from now on.

With regards to Mullin, i hold a somewhat negative view of his long term potential but i really only need him for this round and maybe next. Ideally he keeps his spot and provides coverage for the rest of the season but i doubt that happens. However, trading him in saves another trade, as i only have enough $ in hand to get Jackson & a 102k rookie. If Mullin is dropped this round, then ive got to reconsider obviously.

I wouldnt get jezza this werk because we are traditionally not great on the road but i would grab him in the next 1-2 weeks-all of the gmhba games coming up he will go big and yes he is an injury worry but we wont be able to rest him because we are battling to make the top 8, so he is a good pick.
Agree, but he did give Aliir the runaround a couple of years ago over there, scored huge iirc.

Trading Angwin to Mullin/Fleeton pending who is named. Would prefer Mullin for bye coverage but beggars can't be choosers.

Next week will be 2/3 trades to cover some bye issues and finish the team off.

What do I do with this shitshow of a side? 9 trades and 270k in the bank.

Initial thoughts are Ginbey to Stewart this week, emptying the bank

Next week Shitkins to Maric, Seamus to Cameron.

Only leaves me 6 trades with 50k in the bank, a trade to burn on Briggs, so 5 left with no money and upgrades needed for Ashcroft, Humphrey, Maric and possibly Sneeze.

Could skip Stewart and next week go Shitkins to Maric, Seamus to Cameron, Ashcroft to Oliver and field Ginbey at D6 instead.

Anyone got any other/better ideas?

Ginbey> HH? Only cost you about $32k. Haven't really looked at your bye setup. Because you don't have a ruck swing up forward, you are going to need two trades to get rid of Briggs. Briggs> 102k ruck will free up a lot of cash for upgrades.

5 upgrades with 9 trades is impossible. You need to keep 1 of them. I would pick Humphrey at F6.

Does this work? (cbf doing the maths for the rd15 trades)

rd14:
-Ginbey to Stewart

rd15:
-Briggs to Madden
-Mitchell/Atkins to DCameron
-Ashcroft to Oliver

rd16:
-Mitchell/Atkins to rookie
-Cincotta/Johnson/Ford to the best premo you can afford

3 trades left

Humphrey is your F6

Another option is get cheaper premos (instead of Stewart/Oliver) and save that downgrade, and get a Himmelberg type instead

4,700 coaches have traded in Tarryn Thomas.

Biggest trap ever!

Not at all, depending on your intentions.

If you're low on trades and bringing him in as a keeper then it's certainly some risky business.
If you're rich in trades and can risk needing to move him on following some failed scores, then it's a no brainer IMO.

Personally, I'm hoping he is my ticket to Jackson Macrae in a few weeks time.

If not, he may end up sitting on my bench as M9 or F7 as a potential loop or coverage option.

in at rd 16 ..

Surely Himmelberg is an absolute lock now? Averaged 109 after moving to the backline last year.

I think he will move to around 400K - 410K after his bye. Could be worth waiting another week?

I have Atkins who I am concerned will go down in price quite a bit this week, so pulling the trigger early.

LDU, Simpkin and Greenwood all due back next week along with Phillips and Wardlaw stepping up means little midfield time for TT. He'll probably spend most of his time on a fwd flank I think with the odd center bounce attendance.
