Well that was another hard watch and their wasn’t many positives to take from another boring Lyon snooze feast.
Windy did a great job on Neale keeping him to under 15 possessions unfortunately the other lions mids out played our insipid midfield.
Cameron kicking 5 which was frustrating and it would’ve been nice to have Patton out there to shut him down.
Bombing it all night on Kings head was annoying as Harris Andrews took 10 intercept marks.
Steele gave his all leading the tackle count unfortunately our mids was just a step behind all night.

So move to the "Autopsy" thread without the "Game Day" thread ? Innovative. Cut out the middleman. I get it.

If the Saints do end up winning even with the current state of Rossball, we’ll have to change this to Lyon wins ugly (Zing!)

About the result I expected. We were always going to be up against it this week, lopsided byes, home ground umpiring, and losing all of Dougal, Webster and Nas in one go was always going to be a big challenge to overcome.

We actually showed some good signs in between all the panic and skill errors - we're clearly not a finished product but it feels like we're starting to turn the corner, and see some of the way we want to play shining through in patches. We were a bit slack early but in the 2nd half the effort and intensity ramped up and we started looking, dare I say, good - albeit against unconvincing opposition.

Higgo a warrior, great seeing him, King and Owens looking dangerous (and accurate) up forward. Henry after a slow start did some incredible things in the 2nd half. Schoenmaker impressive on debut - he just brings something so unique to our lineup, I hope he keeps his spot. What a weapon.

Campbell as well, such a great clubman. Did some great things around the ground at both ends, and wasn't afraid to stand up for the boys when the lions thugs started getting snipey. It was a welcome sight to see him take some of the load off Marshall.

Unlucky from your lot. The 50 against Windhager killed the game, pure bs. Paddy Dow aside from centre clearances is useless.
