Whilst the majority will be choosing GAJ as there capt in the 2nd week, I'm curious to see who everyone is thinking about as there vice captain?

for me:
Danger
Watson
JPK
Cox

all 4 currently potentials for Vice Captaincy - with a 135 (locked in) score

Im tossing up between Dangerfield and Cox. 140+ and il do the loophole. Would hate to take a 120 from either and have them captain, and then Abletts comes out and gets 150 the next week.

If we lock the (V) in this set of games (2), then that's it? We can't select another V if its a shit score? World Cup fantasy allowed you to do that :)

yep , one VC choice only

Can someone please explain for me how the round 1 loopoll works?
It's not the round 1 loophole this year, it's the captains loophole every week.

In short, because it is a rolling lockout as opposed to Friday night lockout, you essentially get two bites at the cherry.

1. Name a vice captain who you think will score well in an early game
2. If they tank, name a captain as per usual and it's the same as always
3. If your VC scores big, the idea is to keep their score as the captains score, so to do that you need to not have a captain. Put a rookie (or any player not playing) on the field, and name them captain. Make sure you have someone who is ACTUALLY playing named as an emergency on the bench in that position. Therefore, the C will get a zero, the emergency will cover the C without getting double points, the VC score is doubled.

The only potential lol point is when you put a rookie on, name him captain and he is a late inclusion and you get 2x his 20 points and have Dane Swan on the bench named as an emergency lol.

Have VC on Danger atm but might run a coin flip tourney when I get home from work with him Cox and Jobe.

It's a tough call, Cox and Jobe more likely to go over 130, Danger more likely to go over 150, if that makes sense.

I have the same dilemma with Danger > Cox. When in doubt I guess you have to go the Midfielder...

Got to be Cox VC

- He'll get plenty of points rucking against a solo Griffin
- Natanui won't steal game time off him
- Looks fitter than ever

Watson finished with 121 and luckily I VCed Cox!

Not only that but today (amongst my 150 odd tweaks) I dropped Ryder (54), Luke Brown (44) and about an hour before kick-off on a gut feeling Dangerfield (63).

Unfortunately I dropped Walker (91) out too but that's not too bad.

Do all Geelong supporters have 9 lives?
