Just had a look, all but 1 were great tackles. A lot more impressive than I remembered.

Can you share the timestamps? I'm happy to cut together a little compilation video.

Just looked on the app. It is really easy to do. Just click on stats pop in a name and it is all there

It annoys me greatly that the app can do this, but you can't do it on the actual AFL website.

Sounds like someone is having a whinge.. too much negativity

Still invested in the Club though; still a member; still will make it when I can; still watch every game

Now that you’ve packed it in you can cancel your subscription here as well

Look I'm not gonna say you're wrong, but I strongly suggest people watch for themselves and decide what a great tackle is.

Fair point. A great tackle for me is one that stops the opposition from releasing the ball. Actually, that is a very good tackle. A great tackle is one that does that when the tackling is in a compromised position. So I would say they were very good tackles.

Have to go through the vision, it takes some time. One tackle I couldn't find either.
You've gotta click the tackle and let it play through, often a bit of a lag

Yup figured that out. Yeah they definitely credit him with two tackles for only one tackle there. That's an oddity.

Anyways, I'd say of the tackles I saw, 3 were good. More than I was expecting after watching live yesterday.

Most of our mids are good at what I call static tackles, it is the "on the burst" ones that only George seems to stick regularly.

Personally if you're side by side with a bloke, out bodied, they beat you to the ball and you wrap them up, or if they burn you with pace for a loose ball and you manage to wrap them as they collect, I don't reckon they're good tackles. They're the bare minimum you need to do to make up for losing a contest and bring it back to level pegging.

I think a lot of North fans have just stopped caring.

This place is quiet as a church mouse tonight, which is wild considering we played a game today.
In truth, we’re not quite sure how to view yesterday’s game. There were plenty of good things to hang our hat on. However, the collapse at the end was all too predictable. Ultimately, the result is as good/bad as we expected. LDU, at times, looked a cut above. Jy, bad mistake apart, looked good again. Logue looks like he’s played himself in again - finally. Hopefully, we’ll get George and Archer back. Suns have been flogging us regularly early in the season, since they entered the competition. Yesterday’s conditions would have overwhelmingly suited them. It’s all about keeping our shape for longer. In years gone by, we always had players who excelled at ensuring the team maintained our shape (JMac, Atley, Dumont) - these type of players are usually whipping boys. I don’t believe we have anyone doing this right now. We really need it. In the future, Goater, Hardeman and our wings need to step up.

We won against Melbourne because they are a basket case. Everyone is winning against Melbourne
That 'win' against Melbourne itself was as deflating a 'win' as any other rare 'win' we've had in the last few years. Everyone on here were deluded about how we have turned the corner including the players themselves, but apart from a 10 minute burst in the 4th quarter, the game was a cripple fight. Tons of turnovers. It was far from convincing.

Lots of us sound like broken records saying it but we continue to be useless without the ball.

Too many players can't tackle, don't do anything in the zone - they make token efforts to chase and man up on opponents. They hand off to the next guy.

In the last two weeks, the opposition has waltzed out the front of stoppages. In that time, none of our mids have looked to defend.

We also can't defend opposition kick ins. We sit back, their kicker runs 30 metres and still has plenty of open targets to hit.

We concede stoppage goals I-50 and can't defend I-50 ground balls in general.

Our average pressure rating has been low all year including in our win against Melbourne. We did lift it above 200 in the second quarter but then we fell in a heap.

Sure we play too many players who are either one paced, frightened of tackling (and other things) or who don't have the tank yet. But there's just not enough intent and it seems no consequences from the coaching staff for players. Problem is, some of our better players with ball in hand are our worst without it.

I’m in SA.
The number of events they organise directly correlate with our amount of wins in Adelaide since 2011 - zero.

I’m so indifferent to this team. These years at the bottom have more than countered the sweetness of the flags I’ve witnessed in the early days, almost to the extent that I wish I’d chosen another team.

Like honestly, I feel like I’ve spent more years being perplexed and let down about our lack of spirit that it’s like all that shinboner crap is a myth. We barely see it. The least our team can give us is some enjoyment and hope, they can’t even do that. Nobody is enjoying footy anymore.

I don’t enjoy the game as a spectacle in general anymore. My experience at the moment extends from watching a stop-start Kayo to refreshing live scores and watching North slowly capitulate every week on google. I don’t like the AFL as a league but the least my team can give us is attitude, spirit and hope and they can’t even do that.

Having said that, I’ll seeya here next week where I’ll be ecstatic if we win. I want to believe as much as anyone.
There is just no excuse for the lack of AS supporter activity. That really hurts to hear. Such a basic thing.

I have conceded I will never see North win a flag again. I would, however, just like for my kids to see a competitve team and experience something other than soul crushing defeats.
The only way we get our of this is we actually face up to our errors, acknowledge them, and make serious changes in approach.
We won't. Its just not what happens at North.
You must be 90 years old or something.

He can certainly get ****ed.
Bobby Hill is the one small forward which we need pay him over $1 million a year to get him plus led to believe he brought a property in the south east for nearly $2 million .
But we have Rawlings his idea of perfect forward would be offering someone like Luke Breust a 7 year $7 million deal
