But last time I checked, this thread was about A.Rocca and Collingwood and my point was valid - he should worry about playing 20-22 games in a season, and not so much about the goal tally as yet.

Anthony Rocca

Year: Games
1999: 22
2000: 20
2001: 20
2002: 24
2003: 24
2004: 14

I'd say a KPP averaging over 20 games per season for the last 6 seasons is doing pretty well.

Ignorance is bliss, apparently.

Doesn't this prove my point? He should be worrying about playing a full season this year, and not kicking goals.

I was never saying he has never played a full season prior to 2005. If he plays all 22 this year (because it certainly wont be any more that that :D ), then good on him!

And Tarrant 5.

Buckley 3 and BOG.

Just you wait and see.

From friday night of round 22 losing by 1 point to monday of round 1. It's been a long wait.

I am sure you are the only one who has been waiting to see Collingwood again.

This will be the start of a very dark era for the club , they had their chances but now have no depth and no prospects.

People inside the club tell me they are working on a 6 year plan right now before they feel they will be ready to challenge again.

Shame for Collingwood supporters.

So close yet so FAR !

.....and total time spent on the ground during that time is probably 10 per year and he makes Travis Johnstone look like a super fit athlete.
He is a great first quarter specialist though ;)

Anthonys been a good player who should have been a great player. Granty was a cut above him today, even at his age he was far to smart and classy

And as for people comparing Anthony and Sav its laughable. Sav has kicked well over 600 goals and is still going strong at over 30. Sav has had a tremendous career

So, sp-mac...Tell me. How do you feel after the match, after making those outlandish predictions?

I plan to post the exact same thing every round until it happens!!!!

In all seriousness a dissapointing game considering we were the better team for three quaters (far outplayed in the last) Cooney starting to look good doggies fans.

We have three games in the next three weeks against bottom 8 sides from last year. if we can win two or all three of them we will be ready for the next stage of analysis. If we don't we won't make the eight. The next stage of analysis (should we get there) will be over our performances against Essendon and St Kilda. Win one or both of these and we are back on track.

Three Clokes, Fraser, Richards and Didak to return. Morrison and Carecella slotting into the side well. Leon Davis. Those are the positives I take out of the game today.

Rocca to kick twelve goals next week against our long-time bitches the Lleyton Crows.
