Shai definitely changes our midfield along with shorty who is absolute gun!
I think we’ve got Shai’s mid/fwd balance right. Without looking at the stat sheet he’s playing more midfield minutes than earlier in the season.
Definitely need his explosiveness around Taranto/Hopper/Prestia

I have been a head kicker of Mansell but I think he could seriously be our pressure small forward who crunches tackles along with mrj oppos won’t know what’s hit them also I really think Judson Clarke could be a wingman with pace like an Isaac smith

According to ch7 Geelong had more injuries than that soccer team that crashed in the Andes.
And its spread to the print media.
FMD the hate of Richmond never ends.

Different perspective watching the game live and then seeing the replay this morning. At the ground I was incredibly frustrated with our 1st half. Geelong looked like the better side in terms of structures and the way they broke fwd whereas we seemed to be struggling to execute cleanly. But watching the replay you really didn’t see that on tv.

Solid performance and a lot better than last week. Pressure was exceptional in the 2nd half. We seem to be finally working out our best setup. A number of players could’ve gotten votes last night, was hard to pick my 5.

I saw hopper was sore after a player fell on his leg, hopefully it was that incident corky style injury rather than a calf tear or strain.
Ryan Wowee, he is a bloody smart player, makes really good decisions on the field, amazed at the rate of development this season.

The old heads who I’ve been critical of this season have really buckled down the past few weeks, no dumb shit, no blaisee attitude, just head down blue collar work. Great to see.

I had a little bet on us too. Finally in form against a wounded oppo.

I can now afford a coffee:)
Was the most lopsided market I’ve seen this year. Like you, I don’t bet much but eventually stuck a bet on yesterday -unfortunately the price had dropped from $4 into $2.9.

Rolled it into Gold Coast by 40+ and Brisbane by 25+ @ $14.60. Barracking hard for the Lions today. I think the Bombers cop a hiding.
Hard work listening to JB last night.
I’ve never been a fan of his screaming commentary style, last night cemented it for me, guy has NFI.
Not one mention of the players we had out.
Richo needed to give him a clip
Not going to happen.

He tipped Geelong as well. No idea.

Moving Pickett to the forward line was a master stroke. They were ****ed after that, he is so hard to match up on.
took Dimma an eternity to shake things up down there,i been crying out for Daniel Rioli to be moved fwd, what was the point of him getting 30 a game across HB an still losing in embarrassing fashion ? losing in more embarrassing fashion ? anyway agree, was about time he threw something up,still think his assistants need to go by years end,too slow to react, that spud from the swans who got 6 in a half is evidence, good win last night,Ryans the future to build a flag around

Also why did we trade our pick away and let Geelong take Holmes? Why didn’t we draft him?

Also anyone a bit concerned by Hopper? He is slow and often doesn’t chase, he is always lagging behind his man and the contest.

He’s injured now so a bit moot for a few weeks but I’m not sure I rate him at the moment. He’s a bit light and floaty, not really the bull we imagined.
Bit early?
We didn't lose this week.

The Media just canna quite put the Tigers 'out of contention' and 'to sleep'...we are like Lazarus...we keep rising to the challenge to everyone's annoyance!

I’ve been big on Juddy since last year
For me he is a very exciting prospect

Been thrown around a number of different positions and shown glimpses in all of them
Even last night had a few cameos in centre bounces as well

cap's 3rd goal loved watching him look for options first, totally committrd to giving ogf then decided, seeing none was presenting, fuhhit and slots it imself
you cant teach that

Was coming to post the same thing. Best game for us last night, he does that it'll be hard for him to be replaced.
