I disagree that he has poor skills and I also believe he has good footy IQ. Has traits that are good enough to be part of a premiership team, despite his limitations... I think his output will improve as the team improves - whenever that is. He’s one of the few players in the team who I can cop atm.

It's one game. Too early to make an assessment. Also our list is sh*t. Good more non AFL Standard players on it than decent ones, and I defy anyone to suggest otherwise.
The Zac Williams and Adam Saad recruitments are looking like disasters in hindsight.

Even if we brought in Jesus Christ as coach, we are years off a flag, years.

Like St Kilda, we overrated our list and topped up/took shortcuts too much when we should have kept hit the draft...

Even if we sack Teague, we are still minimum 2 years away from playing finals. We need a through list clean out at season's end.

The list is not that bad. The structures are ****ed and the boys aren’t playing for whoever is relaying the same old message.

Clean out what needs to be cleaned out.

Got told come what may, he wasn't going to be at the club come the end of the year. Thought he would get ahead of it by offering his resignation effective at the end of the year. Club said that's a nice geasture, but if you are going to quit, you're leaving now.

So basically he was terminated on the spot or we would have heard flowery terms like "gardening leave" being thrown about.

Teague claiming there was nothing wrong with the game plan i reckon deflated the players. They would have hoped an announcement of a review and the whispers of players confused of the game plan, I reckon the players had hoped changes would be made. Even tweaks.

Teague coming out in defence might have extinguished some hope within the playing group that changes would be made.
