Snuck in for the Giants and Kyneton yesterday

I actually thought the Giants werenā€™t too bad, had a crack majority of day and continued to take risks through the middle of the ground, instead of playing safe footy and trying to limit the losing margin. Unfortunately just lack the quality currently. I do worry a little bit for them come the winter months when they are playing on heavy grounds against big body sides like Wallen

Speaking of youth, a lot has been said about the Giants youth . I was told yesterday that Kyneton had 16 players under the age of 23. Surely outside the Giants there wouldnā€™t be another side with that many under 23s.

Must say a couple of there recruits are proper A graders. Donā€™t know much about Grumsa, but he looked he could be a top 5 player in this league.
Will be interesting to see how he goes against the better sides but yesterday, but he genuinely took the pi$$.

A forward line of Pretty, Foreman, Nolte, Barrassi and Thompson going to cause some serious headaches I think.

Looking at yesterday results, take out Giants and maybe Riddell, anyone could beat anyone on there day.
What a season we have coming up

how far is the gap to bridge between riddell and the feild.
last night at pascoe vale douttas names guessed went from oā€™kearney at Keilor to smart at deer park to one of douttas young players.
so it seems what you say is happening but who it is remains a stab in the dark.

better than our local division or across at the northern league
keilor and Heidelberg again even after first round.

Mate why would Oā€™Kearney play in the RDFL šŸ˜‚ sounds like it might have been a conversation at the bar!

Not even close with any of those names, but Iā€™m also not going to name the player either that wouldnā€™t be fair.
Keep an eye out in the clearances this week.

I wouldnā€™t say Riddell have a gap at this stage. Anyone of Kyneton, Diggers or Wallan can push them. Itā€™s an even comp

Towards the end of the 3rd qtr this happened and it clearly shows on the replay. Will be interesting to see what the league outcome is

Centrals are going to pants South..

Either way it looks like it is going to be a feisty one and a packed crowd at Arnoldā€™s Creek. Great for the Melton township. Biggest game for Centrals in a long time!
 
Looks like Hodgson will keep on spending till he sends south broke.
Bringing in high cost players and getting paid mega bucks himself. This will not end well for south

Who are the high cost players you refer to. Obviously Pickett & Darley but who else??

Do you think the likes of Galea, Olgivie and others at Riddell, Stewart, Cloke, Micallef, Short etc at Wallan are on less as a whole package.
