That is possibly the strangest side ive seen us pick all year.
No recognised ruck or 2nd ruck.
Tuohy and rohan shouldnt be in there.
No mannagh is stupid with bruhn out.
No conway and stanley as emg when hes supposedly 'injured' is odd.

Toohey kicked 3 goals against Carlton last time we met. Had a very good game.

The introduction of Crazy Scotty?

Or have we decided to tank for draft picks?

All will be revealed

I admittedly missed the lack of ruck. Was pleased with the other ins.

Tuohy gets undue flak, the captain is a no brainer as is Ollie for Neale. No Parfitt is a good decision as is Hardie and Humphries getting closer.

No Conway/Stanley and MOC, Mullin are objectively poor decisions.
I like MOC and Mullin lately
I hope one of them get a run with role tomorrow night
I’d even give the keys to Mullin to play on Walsh

Hi cats fans. Not here to be rude but to me it seems Geelong has decided instead of trying to 'match' a strength of ours in the ruck they're simply just setting up to go at the game same as last time. Absorb some quick entries and rebound rebound rebound.

Good to see danger fit
Yep same as last time. No ruck.

Yeah that would be great if the entries we absorbed were not repeated scores against in quick succession.

It's about the only conclusion one can come to.

Maybe today's lunch went a little too long before the selection meeting.

MOC is nothing player who has a low ceiling and should be looking to replace in the next 12-24 months.
Mullin may become a player but is not AFL ready.

Re SDK , i think at this stage he is another Troy West

T West didnt look like he was going to make it , Scott came in 2011 , elevated West to the seniors and he had a terrific season and was important cog in the 2011 flag . He was reasonable in 012 , but then basically lost all form , sold to Brisbane and couldnt get a kick their

SDK , I dont think many supporters saw his 22 season in the rear vision mirror , he had a top notch year at FB and also was vital in the 22 flag

Yes he had the facial injury last year which would have rattled the confidence a fair bit , but season 24 i think he has been borderline pathetic , makes so many unforced errors , drops chest marks , and i think his attack on the ball has at times been pretty feeble

Maybe he is another Troy West , a 1 year flag winning wonder and that is it
Trent West 😊

Troy West is (that) Catman + Roy West’s son

Giving the MC the benefit of the doubt, these selections would say to me:
  • Stanley & Conway are injured, Stanley a chance to be fit to play
  • Neale is not seen as a viable 1st or 2nd ruck option
  • Clark, O’Connor are ahead of Hardie, Mannagh, Parfitt as mids
  • O Henry, Rohan, Hawkins are ahead of Mannagh and Neale as forwards
  • Mullin, Duncan, Tuohy are still ahead of Humphries as backs

No huge surprises but TDK vs Blitz in the ruck could be catastrophic. We will be very reliant on Danger, and on someone tagging Cripps into oblivion. Hard to see the win.
