I don’t even know what to say after that. I can’t believe we lost to them. Saints are a terrible side. Terrible. They won’t win another game this year. They’ve got nothing.
Yet at one point we were 35 to 17 down inside 50. 91 contested to 66.
Just abysmal. Our players seem to have lost all heart and self belief. I can’t believe how much they fumble. Miss basic targets. Gosh I’ve long defended Paddy Dow but that was (a) heart breaking and (b) predictable when he kicked it out on the full from directly in front. Zac Fisher is getting rag dolled 10 times a week yet still tries to break tackles. I just don’t understand what’s going through their minds. Plowman at end of second quarter thinks he’s Gary Ablett and tries to slice them open through the middle.
I’m lost. I was as optimistic as Hell preseason.
Something needs to change. They are a rabble.

The scary thing for me is the continuous poor disposal.
That hasn't improved in 2 years boys and girls...
SPS, I'm really getting fed up with him. We spent a high draft pick on a player who will turn up 1-2 times a year. Funnily enough, we've also got the other guy we wanted to draft in that pos and he was dropped.
Dow, shocking. I'm sick of the excuses. You don't need experience to go hard at the contest. Stocker did it.
We don't really have much else to return back to the side either. Jones and Doc. Could care less if Murphy is in or out these days.
Plowman is a shocker. Don't care if anyone feels sorry for him, he cops it because he constantly costs us, anyone with a set of eyeballs can see that. 24 years old too. Not good enough, we should send him to the VFL where he may be able to keep up with the pace and leave him there.
Coaching needs to come under fire too. So many puzzling decisions can't be a result of having so many dumb footballers in our team. I just can't believe any team is filled with that many players that don't have a clue. Clearly it's instruction based.

Yes drop tall players in bring in small who choose when they want to run or go hard or.play. We aren't that tall. Just out smalls choose when to go.

Every time we come up against any team, we have more potentially talented players yet because opposition coaches can actually implement a decent gameplay and get 22 average players playing like a team, they alway beat us.
Bolton and his kick around the boundary line game plan can gooooo.
Skills coaches, tackling coaches and line coaches also all goooo.
And please for the love of god, someone bring in huge batch of psychiatrists to rework the minds of half our players cause we have to have some of the dumbest footballers that ever lived.
All our games are like comedy shows, we make every mistake under the sun and then invent some new mistakes on top of it. Just sooo dumb.

The talent is there. The game plan is ****ed.
We need to kick goals in that last qtr. We get the ball 70m out from goal and I see gibbons and JSOS as our inside 50 targets.
Wtf do we play 3 tall forwards for if none are there when we needed to move it on quick .

If we can’t beat Essendon with their outs next week then we may not win again this year. Very grim.
what a disgraceful display again of skills by a group of first round draft picks. This is not the coaches fault. And this is not directed at you soapy, but for the first time in ten years I am despondent. we have a group of players who are just not good enough. St Kilda are shite. A bunch on no names. And they beat a team Of blue bloods. First round picks all of them. Aside from our captain, and Simpson (whom history tells us is a legend of this club) we have f$k all.
I have an 8 year old whom I have shown eternal optimism to, and now I have to try and convince him to stay a a Carlton supporter. We have no pick 1, we have no one who will come to this club. And it’s not the coaches fault, anyone who thinks we performed like that today who thinks it is has NFI!

4 years, still no visible game plan. Skill level isn’t there. We need a coach who’s gonna be firm with the players, no more being nice. And also one to challenge the league for the umpiring.
At least Scott will bring that and Voss.

Dow never wins a one on one. Marchbank can mark that is it. One on one atrocious easy to run around cannot take body contact. Kennedy is flat footed. Setters would of been better. Coaching and development looks like not upto AFL standard. I don't care who goes fix this. We are now a joke. Career killers. Cripps is going to second guess himself. Beg Paul roos to come throw millions at Alistair Clarkson. Do something before you permanently ruin our great club. I am absolutely gutted today.
Summed up my main thoughts. Did not care about any talk in week. All I care about at moment is what we do on field. There was effort but as a team just poor decision making and too many talls in 22 to have enough numbers to ball at times meant Saints got plenty of turn over opportunities and was the difference in the end. I've had more than enough of seeing a team too tall out there, week after week. One win from Ten games should show the coaching staff it is not the way to go. Also have an issue with what it seems Dow needed to be released to VFL to just get back some form and more fitness base but for some reason they did not do that and for mine it shows on field he is making poor decisions and lacking tackles at right moments. Give the kid a break and let him find his own game again in VFL. Next week Lang needs to come in for him and at least one tall like Mcgovern or Casboult out of 22 also. As for rest , just got to play better team football in coming weeks.
