Bit pathetic in the end. Boys really gave up in that last 5-10 minutes, but i guess with such a young side i can't really blame them.

Exciting signs all the same!

I wouldn't say gave up, tired more then anything.

Play in Adelaide with just two on the bench for mainly the whole game, travel back and again only two on the bench in the end today for a quarter and half.

Not one to usually whinge about umpiring, it's a though job. But that was the worst display outside of country footy I've eves seen live.

Jack Sinclair & Blake Acres should play every game for the rest of the year

It has to be said that Acres is a significantly better player than Eli. Not even really close. Different league.

yeah true, 'gave up' is probably a little strong. Second quarter was fantastic though and they battled hard in the third too.

Can't really blame them either when the umpires did their best to snuff out any chances we had of a comeback.

Was good to see us fightback in the 2nd and 3rd quarters but we have to play for 4 quarters and take our chances when we have momentum.

The signs from our youngsters is still promising, we're building a good team.

Acres as the sub always baffles me. He's an accumulator, he needs to work himself into games. He and Templeton should have swapped. Templeton is a far better sub.

Especially when it's so blatant

Brad Hardie is one of the few unbiased WA commentators, he's a Bulldogs supporter so isn't afraid to call it like it is if West Coast or Freo get an advantage with the umpiring and doesn't blow smoke up their arses when they have a win.

Hickey had quite the game to forget. Couldn't mark the ball to save his life and spent the rest of the time getting in Bruce's way.

Assuming their bodies can stand the load of another 14 games or so - hard for 1st and 2nd year players. That would be the only thing preventing them from doing so
