While not in the same league as his names sake AFC's Tom Lynch is probably one of the more important match ups in the Crows forward line.

Obviously Eddie & Tex get the publicity but Lynch (Crows) has the potential to create havoc for the GCS.

At 191cm he is exceptionally good above his head and has a huge tank to cover the ground.

Aerobically KK has his measure but football smarts, strength and ability he would cause KK some headaches. Lynch is too athletic for Leslie and McKenzie so options are limited.

It will be an interesting decision for the coaching staff to solve.

This is spot on.

So poor Jack Leslie (assuming Thompson is out) may have the difficult task of playing on big Tex Walker. My god I hope his team mates provide plenty of assiistance.

I say he would be jumping out of his skin for the opportunity to play on one of the best KPF and overall forward lines in the comp. What an opportunity to progress his development.

I'm going to out on a limb here but by round 22 Rory won't be able to get game because Leslie will be the number 2 key back

Wow, big call, I really rate Thompson, Leslie must be a huge talent, have to admit I haven't seen much of him. Is Rory a definite out this week?

No...unless we have really bad run of injuries.. thommo probably won't play another afl game
Ahhh the old Adelaide is the centre of the universe.

The real Tom Lynch is better than your imposter, go knit another beanie and have a Chardy :)

Hi guys
just another public transport question

will be staying at my Mum's but she is up in Kurwongbah, Brisbane but want to catch the train in

Will there be buses of some sort to Carrara from Robina or Varsity Lakes stations? and realistically how long should I give myself to get there from that far north?

thanks

Try this site. It should give you all the train info you need.

And as kregize said. get off at Nerang and take the free shuttle bus....

Am I the only one that sees Ainsworth struggling to get back into the best 22 at the minute?
Matera has been brilliant and Lemmens move in the F50 as a defensive forward has been awesome, doesn't get much of the ball but his pressure and tackling, chasing etc has been first class
It's a good problem to have but surely Ainsworth will come in over Lemmens eventually, thought he was fine defensively and can provide us with more than just defensive work

Yes eventually Ainsworth will work to get his spot back, but honestly think lemmens the last 2 weeks is starting to secure his spot in the team. Been manic with his forward 50 pressure, just wish he was as quick as he thinks he is sometimes. Needs a little bit better spacial awareness as he gets caught holding the ball a lot

I dont think the gap between Lemmens and Ainsworth in terms of tackling and pressure would be too great, although advantage Lemmens at this stage. Ainsworth chases hard and tackles well and seems like a bit of a pest. Ainsworth also provides more offensively and I think he could come back in for Lemmens, although I think he will come back through the NEAFL anyway. But it would be a bit harsh on Lemmens as he doesnt really deserve to be dropped based on his past few games and I (as well as most on here probably) think he is far more suited to the role he is in now. Definitely another good problem to have though!

Lemmon keeps his spot until Ainsworth forces his way back.

Saad Thompson Harbrow
KK Leslie Mckenzie

Not the best D in the AFL but not the worst

I hear that particular asset goes to Robin Nahas
