If you click on each year when you click on the player, it tells you where they played, games played, goals kicked and how many times they were in the best players.

I know how PlayHQ works. It doesn’t show you which school they went to or played for. Only their club footy history.

If they’re the club of choice for CG students, I’m just wondering who their CG players are, some examples of them to look out for. Pretty basic question I would’ve thought.

Well Riley Linke for a start. On Carlton's VFL list and about 6 5. Needs some muscle but can play.

Linke isn’t on Carlton’s VFL list - he did a few pre season sessions with them last year but wasn’t offered a list spot.

He’s Paul Mynott’s nephew. Uncle told him to head to Rowville where he would be shown off at Premier level and they would get him on a VFL list.

He didn’t get on a VFL list and spent the year in Rowville’s reserves.

Might’ve been better at Caulfield Grammarians rather than listening to his uncle.

(Yes, I might know a few people at Caulfield!)

Haters gonna hate, lovers gonna love. Thats why I didn't want to give any information because you are just going to slag them off when they are young boys trying to have a go.

How on earth am I slagging him off? He’s a very talented young fella and a truly great kid. He’s debuted at senior level for Mulgrave while still at school and looked right at home against men.

He’s been led in the wrong direction as many young players are with ridiculous promises that cannot be fulfilled.

Come and play for us - you need to be playing Premier Division and we’ll get you on a VFL list.

He didn’t get on a VFL list and he didn’t even play Premier - he spent the year playing Reserves.

I’d be very surprised if Rowville has become the “club of choice” for CG students. Some of them might be Rowville / Knights / Lysterfield juniors anyway, so where they went to school wouldn’t be relevant.

If you don’t get drafted and have aspirations there is one basic rule - you need to be playing senior footy. Full stop. If a club that claims to be looking after your pathway can’t deliver that then they are failing you.

But that's footy isn't it. Nah, that is the new dynamic of this society we have created. Everyone getting encouragement awards and being told they can be anything they want to be. Young kids with big eyes thinking they are all Patrick Cripps. Many led on by their fathers who are living out their dreams using their sons.

Media team covering Mitcham vs Vermont on the Sunday aswell as Park Orchards vs South Belgrave on Saturday, Love to see it.

Balwyn
Rowville
Vermont
East Ringwood
South Croydon

Blackburn
Mitcham
Doncaster East
Noble Park
Berwick

Think the top 4 (Vermont, Balwyn, Rowville, ER) are fairly well clear of the rest.

Noble Park and Berwick battling relegation.

Throw a blanket over the four others in the middle, one will finish 5th but none are challenging for the flag imho.

Well done to the media team for covering the Mitcham v Vermont.A game where 2 teams great rivals after 15 years but sadly Mitcham loosing 23 games in a row and dropping from the top division to 3rd div.Huge interest in this game for past players from both sides getting together to talk about the good old days and Vermont have the same plan when both teams play Vermont later in the season as well.As for the game hopefully a big crowd supporting both sides in a close game.

Doncaster East vs Berwick- Shache with a bag of 6+
Rowville vs Noble Park- Hawks by plenty
East Ringwood vs Sth Croydon. ER comfortably
Vermont vs Mitcham. Vermont to do a number on them. Weideman also 6+
Balwyn vs Blackburn. Balwyn far too strong.

ER huge winners over Sth Croydon ER Looked fantastic well coached and
Sth Croydon played at the max 46points 😳
Looks like it took ED 3 quarters to shake off Berwick
Donny East played at the max 46 points as well
Rowville too good for NP

Will drop in to Vermont V Mitcham tomorrow Mitcham expecting a crowd of 1000+

Would think a few more at there tomorrow hopefully.all the talk around Mitcham and Vermont is we are going.A David and Goliath clash but off field the Mitcham volunteers are ready for a big crowd.Important to remember parking will be limited inside the ground and there is a 2 level car park behind the grandstand for over 200 plus cars plus all the parking around Civic Centre and the Round.

Finally a full round of footy

Blackburn and ER should be too strong in the Friday games. Good Test for Mitcham who showed they are up to this level against Vermont. East Ringwood have stars on every line. Will be tough.
Kade Answerth and Jamie Bennell for the Anzac day medals

Saturday Games-
I'm going to go for 3 upsets.
Berwick to Beat Noble just
East Donny shut down Weideman and win
Rowville to show the division they are the real deal.
Hopefully the rain stays away

If Doncaster East shut down Weidemann, it will be because he got knocked out, that's the way they roll there.
