Wagner is close to it. Good changes and I hope Simpkin comes back with a vengeance. Need his attitude in more players.

Could be a close one or a massive flogging depending upon who is switched on. Would imagine Waite is one injury from retiring but he is crucial to our structures until Daw, McKay, Zurhaar or Preuss can comfortably fill that FF position.
Preuss can't comfortably fill that position until he's selected. Not happy that he's remaining out. For one game he was "rested", did nothing wrong. But one game has turned into much more than that.

Thank God Brad resisted temptation and didn't give in to Thomas or Swallow. Maybe a big turning point in his career.
Turning Point Ha for Scott don't think so on 1 hand he didn't bring back Thomas and Swallow but on the other hand he brings back Waite who should have come back in the VFL
Go figure ! I think it's a slap in the face of young guys at the club.

Waite is vital for our structures, Swallow and Thomas are not. Waite will draw their best defender freeing up Browny.

He also is a contested mark forward whereas Brown is a leadup forward. Very different depending on who is delivering the ball inside 50.
He is also our best pressure forward. There is a reason he gets the nod over the others.

Brown dominated against weak key defenders. Need a second tall in to give him some help if he's well held by Talia.
But agree that towards the end of the year Waite needs to be phased out for Maj or Preuss or McKay.
Good call resting Jy. We all like him but probably a good weak to rest him against a very physical Crows.

Happy with the ins and can't argue against the outs. Would prefer Beown wasn't ruck backup but can understand why we don't ditch a smaller, faster and more adaptable player for Daw.

Interested and not unhappy that all the emergencies are young guys.

Can't complain too much about the selections, would have been nice to see Preuss in the side though. Goldy has gone from multiple dicks to a winter chubby, he has been almost Thompson-like in his fall from grace the last year and a bit. Hopefully he extracts the digit.

Daw - coming off quad injury, plays better with confidence in body
McKay - injured
Larkey - want to play an 18yo string bean against the Crows?

Which youngster is feeling aggrieved right now?

We're playing one of the most offensive teams of all time this weekend, we need every quality goal kicker we have.

One thing I know for sure. Regardless of how we individually might feel about it, you can bet your life that Talia and the rest of the Crows' backline is slightly more worried about our attacking power than they would have been. Of that, I'm 100% confident.

Ok with Clarke but v concerned about w8, love him as a player but i don't recall him playing a good game straight after returning from injury, i reckon he should have been through a couple in the 2's first, I would h8 for him to be limping off in the 1st quarter, he better be cherry ripe Brad......

Well supporters like you will never be happy, really cant blame him for bringing in Waite, what was he supposed to do.If you're going to bag him when he is not doing well as a coach at least give him credit when he shows improvements. Clarke in and no Swallow and Thomas shows at least baby steps in the right direction.

Different injury. He has been able to keep up his fitness and touch.
