Preferred general admission seating

Hi all. Hope you don't mind me posting this here. I am coming to Adelaide on the 8th April and haven't been to the refurbished Adelaide oval yet. Am going to get tickets to the Port/Essendon game on that night and am looking for info as to where people think the best general admission area is? Will be taking my old man who isn't the best on his legs so will probably need a seat. Would you recommend section 142 or 141, which is unreserved seating, or is there reserved seating that general admission patrons can purchase? TIA.

Hi mate, in my opinion the best seats are in the Eastern Stand at the top. If you sit at the front of the GA section, you get an amazing view of the entire ground, but expect to get to the game 60-90 minutes before the bounce . As it's a night game, you shouldn't have any issues with the sun in your eyes, however your old man may need to go up about 15 steps (not sure if that makes a difference).

Did the stair challenge last year. Yes I can attest to the fact that there are ALOT of stairs. Hence why my seats are in the silver area.

If you don't manage to get a ticket on line, you may also want to get there early to line up for General Admission on the day. Good hour earlier.

If you get a 3 game membership you have priority to get upgrade to reserved seats .

Views are pretty good from every seat in the house if u ask me
