Which teams have two equally good KPDs capable of blanketing a #1 forward? Both Amiss and Treacy have multiple tools to burn you on the lead, in a pack, out the back or at ground level to be nighmare matchups for a team
Deadly. Especially with Jackson as the forgotten man

Training
Today I was there after warm up and watched only match sim. I'll be brief as I didn't get to watch enough intently do to a few distractions that occurred.

Serong and Walker Training to the side separately. Maybe just load management as they were running and side stepping just fine.

Bolton was in everything up forward. His side didn't have it up forward as much.

If these lads can put in that intensity in that heat then they must be in good fitness. I take my hat off to them.

Banners and Sturt have already been spoken about.

Narkle after a slow start to the pre season is starting to show why he was targeted and if anything will be good depth.

Erasmus gets a fair bit of it and will make a mistake and in the same play recover well. He definitely looks lively. He just needs to polish off his skills when handballing.

The player who has impressed me the most is Tracey. He looks our most dangerous forward who is so prominent and doesn't make mistakes. Bolton being the other most dangerous forward but for different reasons. Amiss is busting his gut to become a genuine A grade player. He looks good the difference is Tracey seems to have a bigger presence than him. Both look in terrific shape and I feel will he hard to curtain both players.
Few distractions that occurred…guessing the ants on the hill the size of cats.

I agree

He was the best player at wafl finals. He now needs a block of games. I understand that Fyfe has more experience but he probably won't be ready for round 1.
Yeah, what I was thinking too mate.

I feel like the minor surgery he had earlier might be the club's polite way of gently easing him out of the B22.

Just start the season with Erasmus and see how he goes. Plan for 4 or 5 games. Let's find out.
Well I thought Raz was one of the best out there today.
Was a ball magnet and generally used it well-a lot better than Jono who got it a bit but wasn’t very productive.
Sharp was everywhere ,Shai kicked a couple nice crumbling goals and Bruce kicked a couple as well.
Voss presented well but kicking lacked polish,Alex very solid.
Driz was really good but missed a gettable goal and JOM seems to have his lateral movement back -selling candy and kicking well.
Darcy didn’t do match sim but did a heap of body work with the new ruck coach-they will both sleep well tonight-but as I said before Darcy is looking primed for a big year.
Jacko moved pretty well in match sim and I think Riddle will turn out ok.
Didn’t notice Charlie Nichols,Fyfe or Wagner today.
Serong and Walker pumping out laps

Bulldogs will be a good battle with Liam Jones and Lobbster.

Hawthorn another with Battle and Barrass.

Deadly. Especially with Jackson as the forgotten man

If Jackson can step up in general and in particular hold his marks he will help make our forward line and team so much better.

Perhaps he was injured towards the last part of 2024 season, however he was a little disappointing I thought. Playing as first ruck is not his role.

Oliver McManus trained today as well as NGA players. According to AFL site he is (as presumed) son of.

*Sorry just seen above, my post is old news.
