Yeah, the only time Freo ever seemed to ‘get up’ for a good stretch there was when we took over some of our strongest sides of the decade, only to be treated to some absolutely diabolical umpiring which usually included 2-3 goals for Mick Walters for reasons instant replay could never explain.
