The point being a majority-white area would never have had a place like that near them. Well maybe Appalachia. They also don't frak, burn waste, or dump sewage near nice white neighborhoods.a) So preventing companies from polluting the environment to the extent it causes statistically significantly higher rates of serious illness is a "liberal ideological priority"?
b) And by labeling this decision as driven by DEI initiatives they seem to have said the quiet part out loud. Would they have made the same decision to drop the case if the area affected had been majority-white? Or is it that Black lives really don't matter at all?
This is the same country where juries have been known to hand out $50m in damages to people who have been scalded y a cup of tea spilling in their laps.
