USA Policy positions of Donald Trump; let's see how many he achieves

The team sport aspect applies almost to both sides. It might be a bit stonger amongst maga members but it does apply to both sides.

And whether right or incorrect, right wing supporters believe the majority of trumps policies benefit them. Thats the reason why the vote for him. Many dont actually like him but they like the policies he is pushing. They believe crack downs on immigrants and tariffs protect their families and their jobs (note i dont believe this but they do), they believe the democrats caused inflation and trump will fix it (this is utterly wrong but they and most independents believe it), they believe positive discrimination policies discriminates against them and they believe democrats dont support religious interests and beliefs. They support trump cos they believe his policies support them more then the democrats. Democrats Healthcare policies arent even remotely enough to offset the other policies in their minds.

So you're saying they're voting against their self interest? Funny that, it's what people keep saying they're doing.

And the leaders who strive to stay ‘moderate’ and balanced like Albo get portrayed as ‘weak’

It’s harder today to be resolute in the centre as the triggerocracy takes over getting more attention.

I’m my book it’s far easier, lazy, to go the wedge route.

Lol
Colorado congresswoman Lauren Boebert, who spent a decent chunk of Saturday’s America First Policy Institute ball trying to ingratiate herself with Susie Wiles. One small problem: she wasn’t talking to Wiles, just a woman from the Midwest who looks slightly like her.

Has anyone noticed when Trump actually goes to church he never reads the pamphlets that are handed out?
I seriously think he has trouble reading.
Look how he struggles even with a teleprompter in front of him at his rallies, and goes off script because he can't read what's in front of him.

The Australian

Pete Hegseth, President Trump’s pick to run the Pentagon, regularly abused alcohol to the point that he passed out at family gatherings, and once needed to be dragged out of a strip club while in uniform, according to an ex-relative’s account of his behaviour that was given to US lawmakers and reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
The sworn statement, submitted in response to a request from Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, the top Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, was signed by Hegseth’s former sister in law, Danielle Hegseth

So much for anonymous sources

Which is ironic given how Trumpists give shit to Biden and Harris for reading off a teleprompter.

Would love to know what he said

pretty sure it was a She.

She didn't say anything crazy. Just told him to be kind/fair to minorities who are likely scared. Was pretty fair.

How sad

The television ratings for President Donald Trump’s second inauguration are in, and they dropped 27% from President Joe Biden’s in 2021 and were nearly 20% lower than Trump’s first swearing-in in 2017.
Wow must have been really cold.

Oh, I meant what trump said to Vance after the bishops speech

I would love one, just one reporter (presumably with a death wish), to put up their hand and say Mr President, do you realise that you are speaking total horseschitte, you sound like a complete idiot, and you are simply making a fool of yourself?
The Jonathan Swan interview was a masterclass in revealing where Trump sits on the "moron scale"
I also loved the Sarah Cooper skits where she used his own voice and words to show the absurdity of it all..............

Yes Trump said the sermon was not very good, not very exciting.
Those were his replies.
It is all about performance with him. Substance doesn’t matter.

And this is what they are.

Legit incredible how conservatives bang on about cancel culture.

Not even a mild criticism, just a plea for mercy :drunk:

You've got this completely arse-about mate. Republicans preferred Harris' policies, once those policies were decoupled from the parties and people promoting them of course.

They vote for him due to pure partisanship and tribalism, with a healthy does of feels and vibes. This combined with the post-covid economic situation which has seen practically every incumbent party worldwide lose since '21 is the reason he won.

It's truly amazing how people want to hang Biden because of the huge inflation increase, yet have completely overlooked that it was caused by COVID.
