Honestly thinking of selling mine. I only have one current generation exclusive game on it right now and all the multiplayer games I have on it are on PS4! Only thing I’d feel like I’d miss out on is GTA 6 (if they take forever to put it on PC) and Naughty Dogs next game.

Living in 2025 is cheap as long as you don't need electricity, heat, any form of entertainment, food, vacations, eggs, car, petrol, eggs, video games, phone, eggs, internet or anything semblance of a life.

EB games and JB Hifi finally have the PS5 Disc drive in stock, if anyone is Interested that has a Pro and the have dropped the price from $160 IIRC to $125

They are having a hard time subsidising that cost compared to Xbox despite sales being 3:1. Though I supposed Microsoft has always poured money into the Xbox for the sake of having video game market share.

Quick rant: official dual sense charging docking station, am I the only person that hates it? The internet seems to give it nothing but praise.

Mine seems to be very finicky, controllers need to be wiggled to make proper contact otherwise the controller sits there not charging.
My old Xbox one dock was infinitely better.

It varies, sometimes I'll get both on correctly first go... other times one or the other (front or back) needs to be reseated while the other one charges away.

think the ps5 will be my last console. costs getting ridiculous, i can handle missing the ps exclusive games.
been a console gamer for like 25+ years, think pc will be my only thing after ps5. wont be going with a switch 2 either

With the way things are going I might not buy a PS6 if this output of games from Sony stays the same. Most of the games I play are still supported on PS4, and of the select few PS5 only games I have, they are all on PC too.

PS has always been my secondary, with PC as my main, to cover exclusives or when a game is significantly cheaper that I don't care what platform I play it on. I can't really complain about the price when PC costs so much more but with PS games now all eventually coming to PC (and full dualsense functionality on Windows is nice), the frequent increases to Plus and what will likely be a higher price of entry form the PS6 it doesn't seem as worth it for my own use case anymore. It used to be also to hang with friends and family as they're mostly PS but with Discord now integrated we hang out on that now. I'll decide once Ghost of Yotei is out. The PC release won't be for a while again but if I don't get FOMO when it releases I think I'll just trade in my PS5 for vouchers or something. I thought maybe a Switch 2 for something different but I don't think there will be enough that will interest me so I'll probably just trade it for Steam vouchers to put towards a Steamdeck.
