Sorry.

Clark.

Jetta, Brown, Cornes, Westoff and Hunt

or

jetta Brown Cornes westoff and Hunt?

obv the second option gives me a bit of extra cash to play with but are cornes and hunt full fitness? The first option i a bit more risky if hunt doesnt play. Or if Brown is afected by Fevola? Or what if Brown is lured to gold coast and Hawks drop him? Or is Cones a bette dramteamer?

Thoughts?

^^ interesting player choices. Haven't seen that combo much. I'd steer clear of Cornes though - seems to be on the decline.

Sandilands + Cooney
vs
Naitanui + Pendlebury

(my other starting ruck is Hille)

Its a tough one

Cooney just hasnt showed hes gonna get those big scores yet...im going natinui and hille as of now...thinking of going light on the rucks to wait and see who performs...

one thing to be mindful of..is collingwood have a tough first 4 weeks...bulldogs saints and hawks...some of our bogie teams...and pendlebury might just fall if he fails in one or two of them...

but...simply from a players i like to watch perspective id go natinui and pendles

Sandilands + Cooney only because a ruck combination of Hille and Naitanui is a bit risky.

Ablett, Watson and Selwood with $37,000 left over, or

Swan, Dal Santo and Selwood with $51,300 left over?

I have had him all along but decided to get rid after him after listening to Bomber Thompson yesterday, at best I see him averaging 125 this year which mean he will be easy enough to get back in later in the season.. I replaced him with Dal Santo and in doing so I have come up with this problem:

Broughton/Newman/Grimes + Malceski

or

Kelly/Harbrow/Mattner + Kennelly

Better option and which player would u choose?

Anyone got an opinion?

Tough one, I would go the top choice Ablett gets the C week in week out hoping that the GC media drama doesn't hinder his scoring ability. Watson looks set for a biggen(even a 10ppg rise like last year) being captain I reckon he will crack 2000 this year. :thumbsu:

Hall v Tippet??

Hall imo. Both can be hot and cold but I think hall is the better pick. The bulldogs will be really pressing for the premiership this year and are hot favs. They have an awesome mid field and hence will deliver the ball to hall quite regurlary. Tippet seems a better pick next year.

Mine is this. I need one more gun mid field.

Mitchell (always a decent choice) vs gibbs (potential breakout?) vs watson (solid preseason) vs vince(had him lock for most of preseason cause his end of last year form was RED HOT but seems like his preseason hasnt been very smooth.

Geebus....

throw a dart as Gibbs/Mitchell/vince.
At a pinch i'd go Gibbs still got upswing, but would not discount vince in a potential top 4-5 side i.e. more wins more points allocated to team. Mitchell may suffer to slow start to they year by hawks and no ruckmen. Waston too inconsistant with disposals which hurts you in SC

mine Bock vs Hurn + $34,900 left in the kitty.

NB already have enright

Bock! '08 scores for him this yr!

Mine is Pav of ROK

and

For 2 emg mids....Banner? shuey? Jetta? i need to giv the flick to 1 of them!

ROK over Pav. Easily.

Wait for Round 1 team sheets, but I'd lose Jetta, purely for financial reasons.

Barry Hall vs Jack Ziebell +45k?

I can make great cases for both.

Robert Murphy or Partick Dangerfield

Last choice i have to make
Robert Murphy $353,800 or Partick Dangerfield $332,700
who do u guys think????

Hall for me. He looks set to score big, even though he might be up an down should beat Zeebs scores.

Mine is Gia vs Tippet vs Hall. Last minute change since Gray is under a injury cloud

If your willing to fork out the cash, Gia. You know what you're going to get and he's someone you can rely on every week reguardless of if he kicks goal.

RELTON VS PODS

RELTON VS PODS

i'd go relton to be honest.

pro's
1) you know he's in the coaches plans - he's playing tomorrow
2) he's got more of a chance of keeping his spot in the team that pods

con's
1) how many points can you see small forwards from richmond scoring?? probably not many....

maybe free up the 20k and upgrade to get Hitchcock

Ok so,

Burgoyne (mid) (i've got bench coverage, he'll play round 3) and Taylor Walker (Fwd)

or

Cooney (mid) and Gary Rohan (Fwd)

Re: Robert Murphy or Partick Dangerfield

Danger - potential to be 85-95 ppg player, coud be his breakout year.

Ive got both, so i rate both. Murphy needs to stay fit, but will be around that mark, Danger could go into midfield and be worth a lot more.

Cooney and Rohan for me

Burgoyne could easily get injured again - cooneys a brownlow medalist and could turn it up

Provided rohan gets named he'l string a few and rise in price..

Walker could just dude and not even make you any money

Mine ----> Mitchel vs Dal Santo
and
Watson (Just see him being consistent this year) vs Cross

Well I have Dal Santo and not Mitchell despite being a huge Hawks fan, so that tells you something. Mitchell occasionally gets tagged completely out, but Dal Santo goes missing too, so its a tough call. I went Dal Santo as I try to avoid having to many hawks. Watson and Cross I dont follow closely enough, but I did have Watson in my side at one stage, but never cross. So I'd say Watson.
