You were able to stream them free off the afl website for the past few years. It's been accessible for a while.

They may still have a link to stream live via the AFL site and the WAFL site as in the past couple of seasons.

The WAFL site indicates 7plus as the broadcaster for all 5 WAFL matches this weekend. I signed up for a free account last night just in case it can't be accessed any other way.

Not that I'm spruiking for 7plus but I had a brief look and they do have full replays of all the AFL games that 7 broadcasts on Thurs, Frid and Sunday and I saw they had a VFL game from Rd 1 and Rd 2 that I could watch - but all the VFL games can also be seen via the AFL site, so there's no change with that. Not sure if the VFL have a broadcast deal with 7 though.

Nothing yet on 7plus for the WAFL when I did a search, but they had one SANFL game from their Rd 1. The AFL site has all the VFL games as full replays but so far only highlights for games from Rd 1 of the SANFL. It could be that 7plus just archives the game it broadcasts on TV and all the other games you have to watch live.

Will find out more this weekend.

It got even worse where it wouldn't let you get full screen last year. It was ****ing horrific
Yeah the functionality going backwards was just chefskiss.gif. I mean someone must have actively decided "This needs to be worse". Then paid for a developer to update the app. The mind boggles.

Think of the C7 games to be televised no Peel, thought we are the reigning premiers (Perth of all clubs seem to feature the most, maybe Barich is running the show)

I've also used the Kodi aussie addon for years to watch it on TV through the AFL app but I know most people probably never set anything like that up, unfortunately 7plus is on like a minute delay, the Kodi stream wasn't.

Who knows you might get someone with a bit of knowledge about the game commentating.
Pretty sure it'll be the same group of people doing it

There is no money in it for 7, I assume they use the teams that called the Colts games on their streamer app (and I assume they were the same people calling the AFL app league games)

Alot of assumptions I know but CBF going back and watching some of last years colts games to figure it out

Perth and South Fremantle look like the teams that have picked up the big name recruits in 2025. Do you have the schedule for which TV game will be broadcast each week.

Channel 7 have chosen to broadcast a night game this weekend, although I can't see why they can't broadcast an earlier game as well. There's a bit of horseracing on until 3pm, and their other channels are filled up with a mix of lifestyle programs and reality tv game shows on a Sat afternoon.

I did hear something on the radio this morning about one of the WAFL clubs not having their lights ready for night games for the first month of the year - but I'm not sure whether that means a change of fixture. It could just be that the lighting isn't good enough to broadcast on TV.

If you call a guy calling from a portaloo at the ground over a 480p mobile only stream accessible yeah.
I care not listening to the caller. What’s his name John Townsend talks super slow mo. A couple of the younger commentators that sound like they are in that portaloo have a bunch favourite sayings and catch phrases which are cringey at best. At the end of the day the footage is fine from the AFL stream app and I can make do without listening to them.

was listed in the West and no Peel from what i could see, maybe lights at Rushton Park too poor

South are going to be a fun watch this year. Toby Whan (184cm) and Fred Rodriguez (184cm) are likely to be named in the seniors this week after some really good preseason form. I think at some stage they will join Lucas Robinson (189cm) at colts level. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to be anywhere near Rodriguez's draft position come draft time but having Whan developing his game as that half back with good skills, we all crave, is exciting for Freo. Same with Robinson the following year as a big inside mid.

Young playing wafl is wild
I am glad they have gotten him wrapped up in cotton wool. He is the most important piece to our midfield and our success depends on his longevity. I'm sure the club docs would also have a say in where he plays this weekend and we should respect that.

Not wrapped in cotton wool if he is in the WAFL

If he isn't ready then he shouldn't be playing

He better not get injured
