I've watched good portions of every state league grand final today and it's fair to say Peel would lose to every team that's played today.

First half observations

NOD looking more like the player we expected at the end of last year

Wagner in the middle playing well, wouldn’t mind him training on a wing in the pre season

Brodie is good in tight but his lack of spread is being exploited at WAFL level.

Reidy is no mug. Extend him another year.


Davies having a mare. I was looking forward to seeing him the most but he’s looked very shakey today. Hoping he can bounce back.

Emmett is a wrecking ball. Some huge tackles and immense chases. I can see him slotting into our forward line if he keeps it up.

Emmett has immense speed and defensive pressure. Just what our Freo forward line needs. He'd be a lock for Round 1.
