We had five qualified for 3 spots.

Diver was the fastest of them with her Australian record and finished top ten at the last Olympics.

But happy to be corrected here , didn't she qualify like 18-24 months ago rather than recently .

I mean I did a sub 3 hour marathon 2 years ago and couldn't get near it at the moment - not that it's comparable to olympic time more than things change

Every third or so championship marathon you get some non African outsider having the race of their life and getting into the medals. It might be our turn for once. Of course very early days.

Very interested to see what happens at the big hill coming up. I think it's at about the 26km mark.

Fair enough, I am on thin ground with my knowledge here. Just heard we didn't take Weightman as a reserve and Diver been injured for a month possibly.
