I haven't used it since returning to Australia a couple of years ago, so no idea if it's still good, but used to run really well.
At the time, Dev and Imran were their countries greatest ever fast bowlers by a considerable margin and good bats. Botham was a brilliant match winner with both disciplines. Hadlee probably the best bowler in the world in his day, and the best cricketer his country has ever produced, but wouldn't be considered an all rounder by today's standards. These guys were extraordinary.
Stokes gets his share of hoopla - because some of his batting feats have been extraordinary and when bowling fit an absolute plug in workhorse with the ball.
No doubt there's been a tendency to underappreciate success in Asian conditions by the western cricket media and public - hence guys like Shakib and Jadeja not getting the praise they warranted amongst the western cricket nations. Shakib was one who would have been picked for either discipline on its own and probably his country's greatest ever player. Imran and Boths the other two who had claims to being selectable for either discipline at stages of their career.
Holder - a beacon of hope in a dark time for WI cricket, but his name doesn't belong with these other guys. And whether it could have really comes down to an assessment of how much potential he had as a bowler. You obviously rate his bowling much higher than I do and consider those years with outstanding figures as his potential, whereas to me they were just unsustainable outliers. He was a good honest bowler.
With that said i'm fairly certain Sajid is going to bowl out West Indies for 50 runs to win comfortablyPakistan would have paid the price for the overt preparation of this deck against any other opposition.
This is the exact reason you don’t exaggerate the natural advantage you already have as a subcontinental side

How's Warrican's effort with bat and ball! Love these cameos by obscure West Indian players only to never see them again.Oh 100 per cent I’m just saying that if if they did this against a competent team with the bat they would be staring at a huge defeat. Has turned their own batting innings into a lottery and even as we speak the only thing separating the sides is that partnership for the fifth wicket in Pakistan’s first innings.
I think it applies everywhere. A while ago South Africa were pissed off that India gave them rank turners on a tour, so they produced pitches in response that were rank seamers. It just levelled their seam advantage because it made a pretty mediocre indian seam attack deadly.Pakistan would have paid the price for the overt preparation of this deck against any other opposition.

Along with those crucial runs he made, it's the craziest individual performance for the Windies I've seen since Kyle MayersJW’s been in and around the scene for a while, I know what you mean in that we have a lot of these guys that turn up and play a great game and they never do it again, but he will be on the scene for the foreseeable future; he’s a proven first class player and the selectors love him.
The conditions obviously helped but he did genuinely bowl really smart, bowled straight and varied his pace a lot.
Please just bat smart, and bat positive. Give ourselves a chance.
