Someone should ask him why Port didn't do a thorough rebrand like the Crows have just done, when we had the chance.
Logo aside, it's clear they engaged a legitimate agency and went through a rigorous process to build out their visual identity for the future.

Keeping things 'in-house' and having the process controlled by certain members of staff and the board, telling supporters it was for 150th only before revealing that they lied about that, and then having low/no paid designers to roll out the social media branding gives you an indication of the type if admin we currently have running the club

And yet, our boring logo is 1 million times better that theirs

That’s not true, and beside the point.

They did the job properly. We didn’t.
The results will be obvious next season.

Thanks Matthew, yep losing a home qualifying final by 84 points and not firing a shot in the prelim were particular highlights.

Never be in any doubt as to what the internal expectations are - these people are just thrilled to be there.

Is this the third iteration of “thanks everyone! something something great 2024!” since the end of September?

Who is this messaging for?

I know for a fact that Brisbane fans are envious of all the KFC ads and Perfect Pear.
That is just genuinely taking the piss him making that statement.

Pre-game is like a funeral procession now. I genuinely thought about taking a book at times this past season to get through the 45 minutes or so before the bounce.

The prawn sandwiches and bants in his ivory tower must be off the chain.

🎶 I got you, babe :musicalnote:

There would be nothing wrong with acknowledging making finals/prelims as something of an achievement if it represented progress or breaking new ground (eg our AFLW team or even our AFL team back in '13/'14).

When you've got the same people delivering the same results who have long since clearly and obviously hit the ceiling of their achievement it becomes a boring and self serving message that comes across as them protecting their own jobs (because it is).

The match day experience for our first womens final was the chalkboard MC reminding us at each break "ORRITE DOWNLOAD THE APP AND GET YA VOTES IN FOR THE FARKEN SONG WE GONNA PLAY AT 3 QUARTER TIME"

Sadly there is a contingent of supporters that spruik about match day experience & Jarrod Walsh narrated fluff when in reality it's a cringe on crack to everyone else around the country.

Was genuinely incredible in the early years (in conjunction with the GDV).

Is now as stale and insipid as the tail-end of Football Park.

how is our match day experience the best? I'm genuinely baffled by that statement. How bad is every other teams?

MR, because we don't care what happens on the the field. What happens off the field defines our Football Club Corporation.

Sorry, we cant call ourselves a football club until it is handed back to the members.

Very apt given Cher was in an abusive relationship with Sonny when they recorded this.

The PAFC has become like the abusive partner that keeps telling their victim that things will be better next time.
