Can anyone confirm that games from ozgameshop are PAL and will work online in multiplayer mode in Australia???

Yes they are all (mostly) PAL with the odd region free NTSC-J version a la this

The MP will work on all 360 games, and I presume most (all) PS3 games

The only time you may have difficulty with PS3 games is the DLC which can be region locked if my understanding is correct

I find it's best to get (PC) games from India through eBay sellers.

Legit games, very cheap prices (brand new releases for no more than $40 including postage) and fast delivery. I got NBA 2K11 a couple of weeks after release for $24.

Only issue is that the manual is generally not in English, but it's rarely hard to find a copy online.

Just go into ebay, go into video game category, choose games and system (i.e. Xbox 360), click on Buy it Now Only tab, click on price tab cheapest to most expensive and you'll see who sells the games cheap

Most are from HK like Togetherplaystore and Pro_gamer_shop88

Re controllers, be wary of ones from HK on ebay, a lot are knock offs.

They still work perfectly, but aren't always the genuine article

Yeah i actually just read that last night about how they were made in China and aren't official. On ozgameshop they're like less than $10 more but ozgameshop's are probably official, I guess it's worth forking the small amount of cash to get something more reliable.

I bought a 360 controller from them for around 42 AUD and i came in about 2 weeks, really cool site.

If you are prepared to wait a couple of weeks it is well worth it

Thanks for this site, just Got UFC 10 for 20 bucks. Lets see how long it takes to get here now and then ill decide if I like em or not :p

Just odered Dead Rising 2 from Ozgameshop.

Does anyone know how long they take to ship roughly and what country they ship from?

They're based in the UK. I have had things take anywhere from a week and a bit to three weeks to arrive.

I have been using these guys since when they were only operating as 365games.
Always been great to deal with, however with the postal service deliveries can vary by a bit. I had 2 games sent recently on the same day, 1 arrived 1.5 weeks before the other.

There's a dedicated thread on whirlpool with a rep responding to any questions.

Also they have a system coming soon which will tell you the region of games, PAL/NTSC etc

dvd.co.uk is quicker and cheaper....

Same as anywhere, prices arn't always cheaper (borderlands/ps3 for example), and they charge 1pound on top for shipping. Also don't they use the normal mail to post it? So it's as hit and miss as anyone else using the mail service.

Ugggghhh I have bought thousands of games online, and I do mean thousands.

DVD.co.uk is cheaper then the listed price as VAT is removed.

Ozgameshop is always a fraction more then DVD.co.uk. Simple.

And they aren't the same people. Both have seperate ebay accounts too.

On Whirlpool they wrote this

Q. What if my game never arrives?
A. Our stated delivery time is 4-12 working days (ie, Monday to Friday), but I do accept, that on some occasions it can take longer than this. We do offer a refund/replacement for any order that doesn't arrive, but we can only do this once 25 working days have elapsed – this is a rule set by Royal Mail as until then, they say it can still be delivered. If you have waited 25 working days, simply contact us and we'll send you a 'lost in post' form, once completed, you'll be able to claim your refund/replacement.

Personally I'd send them a message

I think ill just wait till Friday and if it has not come i'll contact Ozgameshop. I think it's only been 12 working days.

Jump on Wp and run through the last 5 pages and you will see that they say 4-12 but people are waiting a LOT longer than that.
Like i said my avg is around 15 working days.
