Freo is the only club with a pick they may be willing to trade (pick 11) if they can't get Baker.
They could use our F1 to make a play for Warner next season.

I'm assuming we have been talking to Freo, rather than dealing exclusively with GC on pick 13

The thought process is a good one but right now Freo are wanting to keep 11 in hand in by all reports in case the Baker deal to WC falls over. God knows how long that deal will take to get done and we probably can't afford to wait.

Assuming that did go through in good time then I think their preference is still to take 11 to the draft and land Bolton for 10 and 18.

If that reached a stalemate with the Tigers demanding 10 and 11 they could look to do a Hawthorn and shift it to a F1 or alternatively look to Sydney for 19 and 22.

We'd face stiff competition to land 11 with someone like St Kilda or North being able to offer more appealing future 1sts and with no leverage of Noble in play they'd likely win out.

We do have a good history of trading with Freo however and if the deal for Houston fell through and we still traded Noble then suddenly a F1 and 23? could put us back in the frame.
