It would've been 4 if they didn't kick a goal after the siren against Essendon.
I think the intensity of the teams entrenched in the top 4, like ourselves has dropped off, and those teams battling it out for a final 8 spot, has seen their intensity levels lift.
If you're off by a small margin, any team is a chance to beat you.

Honestly the more you think about it, everything is kinda coming up Milhouse for us now. Obviously would rather have won but.... I think we have actually gained percentage on Port and Brisbane too.

Aliir was clearly knocked out. What a disgrace of a club sending him back out there.
Was it Port that did something similar at the G last year? Had 2-3 players with head knocks but refused to test them just so they could keep playing.

That confirmed my suspicion as to why we looked so flat. Both teams beaten comfortably by underdogs. It's emotional flatness rather than physical. When you look at Carlton's hot form and see how close we could have been had we not missed so many sitters it just underlines how hard our boys fight even when it isn't their night.

Yeah I want Port to win. They're no good*, so have them finish higher than Brisbane and Melbourne. And of course, want Cats to miss.To be honest I'd be happy for Port to beat Geelong and this flog.
*Relative terms. Not as damaging as a Brisbane or as good as Melbourne.
